Hey guys, I have managed to create myself a slight problem....

Donated the helm of Oryan bearclaw, by accident, to the museum of artifacts in Mournhold. Only realised what I had done after saving So I stole it back lol, and now I have a 125000 bounty i.e death sentence with no possible way of removing it as guards wont even talk to me they just wanna kill me!! I CANNOT join thieves guild, and I don't know why this is or if joining the thieves guild would enable me to get rid of this bounty?!? I am a member of several guilds, are there any guilds that if joined make it impossible to join the thieves guild also??

If there is a code anyone knows that I can type in the console to rid me of this problem, that would be much appreciated and would probably be the best way?!

If you do the "Larrius Varro Tells a Little Story" quest, he gets rid of all bounties and death warrants for you. You also get a nice reward. I expect rohugh will be here in a second, telling you the console command

You can get rid of it by -

Doing the "bloodbath" quest for Larrius Varro will result in Varro removing any Bounty or Death Warrant.

As a member of the Thieves' Guild, completing the last quest for Sugar-Lips Habasi, Big Helende or Aengoth the Jeweler will cause them to reward you by lifting any Bounty or Death Warrant.

Finally, if you aren't Thieves' Guild and you are a male character, you can do the quests for Ahnassi, the Khajiit thief, at the Pelagiad, Halfway Tavern. Doing her last quest makes her lift any Bounty or Death Warrant you have.

The Death Warrant lifting is done via scripts, attached to the quests.

Only other thing to note is you can't join the Thieves' Guild if you have a Bounty. You have to get rid of the Bounty first, before you can join.

Librarian27 also provided a way of getting rid of this death-warrant.

Add these lines to the Console:

"Npc ID"->SetDisposition 80
"Npc ID"->StopCombat Player
"Npc ID"->Setfight 10
PayfineThief
SetPCCrimeLevel 0
Set mt_NewCrimeLevel to 0


Main Npc ID's are: "Imperial Guard", "Imperial Archer", "Imperial Guard Captain", "Ordinator Stationary", "Ordinator Wander", "Ordinator _High Fane", "Telvanni Guard", "Telvanni Guard_Stand", "Telvanni Sharpshooter", "Redoran Guard Male", "Redoran Guard Female", "Hlaalu guard", Hlaalu Guard_Outside"
there are others but there is only 1 of each so its not worth noting

Open the Console Click on that Ordinator and then type these commands:

SetFight 10
StopCombat player
SetDisposition 100

Or you could ignore those completely and kick everyones butt, since you can't be in deeper trouble than you are right now.
