Hopefully never lol! I hate that show! Ever since I saw the polar bear on the tropical island I thought the show was terrible.

Pff..
Lost? Schmost, more like.
Besides, when's
Dollhouse gonna get some more episodes?

Lost... Somewhere In A Drawer In My Office
Wasn't the show disrupted by the WGA strike? If so, new scripts would've gone into production the month it came to an end. If so, when the networks got back on schedule, new content would be available.
But I don't really know what I'm talking about, because I didn't follow
Lost - or the strike. I'm just putting forth my naieve best guess.

fall of 2008, that's when... can't wait can't wait can't wait..

Have any of you ever actually seen a full season of Lost? Obviously not. You probably just saw a preview with the Polar Bear and thought Wow, that is the most stupid show ever. When you've seen all of the first season of Lost, then come post a reply to this topic.

People still watch Lost?
I gave up on it when Jack, Jill and Saucer got captured by the weird guy and those people. Even then it was a chore to watch it.

Own all of the seasons, and never missed an episode... It's one of the very few shows I always MUST see... That and
Heroes...
I even go to the Lostpedia, to check out various theories, etc. I'm a true
Lostie... Hell, I even wrote a Lost Mystery Dinner for me and my friends, that we did at a birthday party... Everyone dressed up as Kate, Jack, Sawyer, Sun, Sayid, Rousseau, Locke, Charlie, etc. Story = an "Other" was killed while being held captive in the Swan station, so everyone tried to figure out who did it (it was Rousseau)...

Wow, people still care about Lost? The show with no plot to actually twist? I watched the entire first season, then woke up... and it was all over.
Other than quite fancying whats-her-name, I'd rather fall out of a tree backwards than watch another episode. Ditto with Heroes, especially on the first bit... go Claire! (still not a good enough reason to watch it)

What? You don't think Kate or Claire are hot, and have set up a religion against them, denying all who think they're purty?! And so I transgress against your idioms, Mr Cactus... what can I say? Just call me a Heretic..

No, no, Mr. Tourist, sir. You misunderstand.

Jeese, so you've set up a persecuting dogma against people who fall out of trees also?!?! You must be stopped!! If a man cannot choose to fall out of trees - in whichever direction he so chooses - then the Cactus Nation must be stood up against...

1. It's the Cactus
EMPIRE (Like in Star Wars)
2. No one can destroy us. You may have strength in numbers, military, whatever, but we have two things that will make us overcome ALL
a) Zombies haven't killed 98% of our population
b) We are a fictional Empire, so I DARE you to fight us. Can't be done. It's against the very laws of physics, many of which I passed into law myself as President of the World
c) starts with Cactus.
3. I was referring to your anti-Heroes views, and your gosh-darn well know it, bub.
4. comes after three

Cactus; hey, if your empire really is anything like the Sith's Empire, it'll fall to pieces in three easy steps..
1) can't even beat a bunch of teddy bears with
"unstoppable tree-trunk technology" (thankyou Andrew)
2) your TIE fighter pilots will end up flying into random asteroids, or blowing each other up with stray shots
3)
"Only Imperial Stormtroopers are so precise" - Obi-Wan, have you been drinking?
As to my
Heroes/
Lost stance; well, I'm a Whedon acolyte, so my TV standards are a shade higher than most peoples.

And if I can accept that some people don't like
Buffy or
Firefly, then we can just chalk these things down to 'different opinions' and enjoy whatever we each enjoy.

Nope. It's blasphemy.
As for high standards, I actually only watch one television show: Heroes.
Though I admit, back in the day I watched my fair share of Buffy. As for Firefly, I also admit that..
..I have no idea what it even is.
Oh yeah, and in the books, the Empire is totally still going on past the books. It gets back up, the Emperor returns, etc. Oh yeah.

You don't know what
Firefly is?
Well, no wonder you're happy watching
Heroes!

Bah..
Perhaps I'll look it up sometime.

The Tourist: While I am a card-carrying Whedonist, it behooves me to mention that your discussion is quickly rising in temperature. Whilst not quite an open flame
yet it may soon approach these levels. I'm asking now that you show a little restraint and A. Restrict all comments to the initial topic and B. Limit all inflammatory comments to the realm of PM.
Cactus: Watch Firefly.

Just to make everyone happy, I did indeed look up Firefly, and even saved the link to the first episode (chronologically, of course) so I can stream it later. I'll probably watch it tonight and report back.

Logius, everything I've said so far has either been in good nature, or concluded with the following 100% reasonable statement of:
I... wrote:then we can just chalk these things down to 'different opinions' and enjoy whatever we each enjoy.
So my feelings are almost officially hurt..
Cactus
Is there a place to legally stream
Firefly?
And regarding chronological order - not knowing which source you or the site used - look up the order in which they occur on the DVD's, not their air dates or production dates.
Objects In Space must be last..

Logius: For the record, I was being light-hearted and was aware that Tourist was as well.
Tourist: hulu.com Apparently they're in connection with both NBC and FOX. It's free to stream, but downloading is not. And, I found the chronological order, as I mentioned, on wiki. I assume it's correct. It specified that it was not the original air dates and that fans (paraphrasing) thought it was retarded, so I'll go with the fans (i.e.: you) and watch them out of order.
