I'm going crazy inside, my wife has just taken a pregnancy test - and it's positive!!!

I'm absolutely delighted, for reasons I won't bore you with I have grown up seriously doubting whether I was fertile so this is huge, HUGE news for me - but obviously as it's so early in the course of things, we agreed not to tell anyone until we have this confirmed.

Which is fine - except every fibre in my body wants to shout out "I'm going to be a dad!!!"

So, I got it off my chest here, thanks for indulging me!!

Congratulations!

Bringing a new life into the world is both a scary and wonderful event. Its the most unique experience that a person can ever have, the next 18 years are going to be the most amazingly confusing years of your life. The ups and downs will all be worth it in the end. You're going to be shaping a person. Our future leaders, geniuses, teachers. A wonderful thing indeed!

For some reason, that's the maddest, funniest thing I think I've ever read here :D (apart from Weka's 'grass thing').

But aside from the leftfield funniness, congrats on the upcoming newborn.

Hey, the UESP is the Official Home of International Insomniacs, so you'll fit right in.
The ..er... O.H.I.I. "O-hee"? Hm... it does needs a better acronym, tho...

Congrats on the pregnancy. =P Just wait till the child turns 2... >.>

Gotta love insomnia. And it doesn't need a better acronym, just pronounce it differently: "Oh, HIIIIII!!! :P" After all, we insomniacs would be able to say hi to quite a few new forumers if they decided to show up late in the night with nobody else around. (Although I tend to not be on the forums that late... I end up playing games instead  )

Congrats to you and your wife, Mad Jeeka!

Pretty soon, you won't remember what your life was like before having children.

And you may find that becoming a parent changes your outlook on some things. It sure did for me.

What? What's pregnancy, is this from a mod or just the vanilla game? :P

Seriously, congratulations!

Wait. You are infertile, and your wife is pregnant?
I sense foul play.

Just kidding, of course.
Good for you!
