Still having trouble.

I hate to admit it but I am technologically retarded.

I have downloaded Arena and I have downloaded the latest DOSBox.

I have tried everything in all of the threads before me, however I still manage to fail.

I assume my first issue is downloading Arena to the incorrect folder. I deleted the Arena folder and it's contents hoping that someone will soon arrive and instruct me step-by-step as if I am a child doing this.

Thank you for the help.

Prepare to be instructed by a 13 year old in computering.

Note: You can install the Arena anywhere you'd like, as you still have to write a path to it. So go ahead and redownload it.

So run DOSBox, and type in MOUNT C:\ARENA (or wherever you installed it V:\Games\ARENA for me)

Then type C: or whatever drive you typed in above (V:)

Type cd arena (or whatever folder is next, cd games then cd arena), to get the folder in and lastly type in arena.bat to start the game.

yeah, um *cough* but go to PROGRAM FILES click ARENA click FILES or DATA or the folder in there... and click INSTRUCTIONS... either one of the files in there should have the RIGHT STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS...

good luck...

oh, and be forewarned... Arena... is hard as HELL!!! I can NOT figure out how to play... I've gotten past the dungeon in the beginning and everything but beyond there.. its crazy... and also, there is no Imperial race in Arena there are 7 races... there are no imperials, dark elves (i think) and no orcs

*Sigh*

Yes the Arena is hard, but that's only because gaming itself has changed so much over the years. There are 8 races (there are no imperials or orcs). Khajiits are humans with face-paint and bosmer look plain scary.

I added a lot (and I mean a lot, it was almost like adding an entire game by myself) of information to the wiki. Go there and read to learn how to play.

Main thing? Don't panic. Good Luck! 8)

I have read the instructions with the program files. It didn't help me much. Thank you, though, Vesna.
