Sorry if it's obvious but I'm a new Morrowind addict and was wondering if it's possible to write on those empty pieces of paper you see everywhere, or if theres a certain mod to enable it
Thanks

Well you can enchant a piece of paper, But is useless, cuz you can only use it once.
Kinda like making your own scroll.

You can't write on paper in the standard game, no. There is a mod that enables you to write in your journal - "Journal Enhanced", and there may be one to let you write on paper. Check at TESNexus or PES.

Thanks
Now that I know it exists, ill just go searching around for it, hopefully there would be one to write on paper, writing on the journal sounds messy to me.
Found the Journal Enhanced on PES, seems pretty useful.

I remember when I first started playing; I collected paper and quills(I think), and ink bottles for writing notes to myself and empty bottles for when I made potions.

Not really that funny I guess, as I hadn't played a game anywhere near morrowind before and thought that that kind of thing was a logical progression in the new games of the day.

Sounds quite pointless to me.

Got short term memory here and hate Alt-Tabbing, so I would add different notes that the NPC doesn't provide for example.

You do know you can make notes on your local map if on pc?

I do play it on PC, but sometimes it's not only about the map, like I might put my leveling stats at the end of a day or maybe a alchemy recipe I want to try out later on, I just like to keep everything in the game itself.

I'm pretty sure I found a mod once to write on paper, but I'm not exactly sure where.
The most likely place to look for it would be here:

This is a list of the most useful morrowind mods.

Thanks, but didn't find anything to allow me to write on paper, only a few useful paper mods, like new models and more realistic and less annoying papers :p
I would make my own, but I have no clue on making paper writable... So ill be sticking to the journal for the time being.

i don't know about recepies, but for stats - you can make a screenshot.
eventhough i don't know why you would want that...

I just track my stats because I when I level my main, I want his 3 main stats to have a x5 multiplier.

You really can't beat a real pen and real paper for game notes.

Thats more of a laziness and clumsiness issue
I never find a pen or anything that writes around the house xD And the paper usually gets lost.
It's okay though, I settled with Alt-Tabbing to Kate and writing everything there, the journal wasn't as great as I expected.

If you don't have a paper near your computer, where are you resting your drink? Egads! You're going to leave rings on the desk!
Get a good pen that is well sealed on the non writing end. It doubles as a swizzle stick. They're called mixed drinks for a reason, my boy!
Besides, since you print out my comments for posterity, like everyone else, just write on the backs and margins of those papers. I won't be insulted.
Please also note that if you're a clumsy penman, practice your penmanship while you're slightly tipsy. You'll loosen that deathgrip on the instrument.
