Has anyone here created a really evil character, what was cool about it?

I was thinking about creating a mage + thief.

Does anyone have any suggestions of skills to have?

i created a Dremora Prince, he was head of the thieves guild and DB killed all good characters, left all oblivion gates open and tried to kill as many people as he could, eventually he became a vamp and started to feed on people. then he got a bit bigheaded and ocato killed him, needless to say hes sat on the naughty step right now whilst my demi-god is restoring order :?

I created a mage/assassin who stole the souls of innocent bystanders who were walking from town to town. Then I would descecrate their bodies. I wore Black Hand Robes with Umbra at my side and was buffed with magical spells like paralyze and such.

I'm planning to do the same thing in Hackdirt. Those crazy gits are totally asking for a good piece of Umbra!

Hey Tryzon, always really nice to have a new member to the forum, but it's also nice not start out by bringing back old topics that are already considered "dead" to the rest of us.

Topics that are still somewhere in the last page or two tend to be considered as more appropriate to post replies to.

Looking forward to hearing more from you.....

I don't see the problem with necro-posting. If there's more to add to a "dead" topic, then why not "resurrect" it?

^ Because its more productive to engage in new discussion. I mean, if someone asks for help on a quest for example three months earlier, and they got their answer, chances are they don't need help on it three months later.

Well, there are really all kinds of evil. You've got the dyed-in-the-wool murderous rampager that everyone knows as a fearsome killer. I consider those schmucks rather dull, dumb, and unskilled oafs who succumb to impulse.

I've wiped out every guard in Bravil myself, but I executed this with purpose and devilishness. You see, one of my dead drops instructed me to take out a certain Wood Elf who pays homage to the statue in the square. I was informed that the guards would not interfere should we fight in the streets. I made sure the guards couldn't interfere even if they wanted to.

Chalk it up to the miasmatic swamps or brackish stillwaters of Bravil, but every guard in the castle barracks took ill and died in agony. The cause of this plague was most mysterious to all, since they appeared to have been well-fed on apples...

...the beauty of it, of course, is that even though the guards respawn, they do so with the script still in effect and drop dead seconds later. Bravil is now completely devoid of town guards forever. All without suspicion, bounty or infamy on my part.

The beauty in Oblivion itself is being able to kill anyone in nearly any way imaginable, which creates a prime atmosphere for an evil character.

I personally prefer a moreso subtle, underground, diabolical overlord, my dunmer Arotos Markos being a prime exampl

Many people think of Lord Markos being the pure essence of the distinct, Imperial Upper Class. He has been known as a well-behaved, tax paying citizen, the center of Cyrodiil's most exclusive parties and get-togethers, however few know of his true intentions.
Though the infamously moody Arch-Mage of both the Cyrodiil and Morrowind chapters of the Mage's Guild, Lord Markos rarely abides by the Mage's Code of Honor. At a young age, he joined the sinister Morrowind organization, the Morag Tong, gaining a reputation as a ruthless murderer.

...

Maybe I'm getting a bit too...in-depth...

I sit in my Arch-Mage's quarters and kill anybody who dare comes near...
How's that?
