Just brag here :)

I make this thread so we could share our adventures. I'm tired of bug questions, how-to, tech, raising stats. Let's put some stories about good oldfashioned adventuring!
Like, yesterday. For no good reason I visited two Ayleid ruins on my way back from Leyawinn to IC. Just because. The first - lots of hard trolls. Magic reflected right into me. Just run backwards, shoot and keep them poisoned. And do it fast because the moment the poison stops working, they start regenerating faster than you can pack arrows in them. Okay, killed maybe 20 [&@%!], swept the ruin clean, some Welkynd, some Varla. The next ruin was full of undead. Guardian, Hero skeletons, Faded Wraiths, Ancient Ghosts. Painful and hard, immune to poison but luckily not to magic, got my "restore magicka" potions to work, packing 100+ damage in one spell. But best of all, the skeletons carried some pretty good weapons. I'm no weakling, some 80 strength, but I made 4 rounds back to the horse (saddle bags mod) carrying the loot while under the feather spell, then at the end of the last round found the horse overencumbered by some 200 points.
Earlier in the game, at the uni I spellmade a feather spell, but forgot to change "on touch" to "on self", so I shrugged it, just a useless spell, I just made another, "on self". And the "on touch" came in handy. Some 150 points feather on self (in 2 spells) to be able to carry half of the loot plus another 100 points feather on my horse and at snail speed I reached the IC to sell the loot.
I'd never guess I'd be forced to cast feather on the horse

Which house to buy now?
Oh, and it's extremely satisfying to use up 50 bottles of poison on the enemies, walk up to the horse and pick another 50 from the stash of 200

Question about the horse pack mod, does it work on the Pryory horse? I have that mod installed but didn't have any saddlebags on it.

It doesn't change the horse graphically, but AFAIK it does work on her. Activate (like mounting) while in sneak mode.

My brag is that with 66% Reflect Damage things just hit me and die. It's almost boring.

how did you get that high reflect damage? I think I am at about 40%. Other than that, I have finished every quest, have 168 strength, 100 most other things, and most creatures die when I look at them hahaha. I am currently making a cool new mod, but still having some trouble with the bsa files. Hopefully you can all beta test it for me when it is sorted

Amulet of Axes and Ring of the Iron Fist. Both have 33% Reflect Damage.
To be honest with just one of them equipped I don't really notice anything happening. Both and I'm a walking kamikaze machine. So there might be some significance in having over 50% (perhaps that indicates that the enemies are now taking more damage than they give to you?)

where do you get both of those? I have escutcheon of chorrol, ring of namira, er and grand ring of retribution.

Sound like random to me, but let the OP speak.

Random. Both, if I remember correctly, from Dremora (or whatever the heavily armoured nasties are) inside Oblivion gates.
I also have a Base Ring of [Something] with 8% Reflect Damage, and I am not sure at all where I found that, but possibly inside a chest in a cave.

Recently on a longish journey through Ayleid Ruins, filling in missing and correcting inaccurate entries in the wiki. Heh, fun job - explorer

Damnit, a game where you could earn living as a cartographer would be amazing

would make earning money a lot easier as well. perhaps too easy

my character recently 'retired', storing everything in his house in skingrad... of course, not easy to find so stupid maid eyja won't suddenly discover my black hand robe and inform the guard. i've been walkign around town and doing odd quests in nothing but burgundy shirt, hunstman's leather pants and gold-trimmed shoes, with a silver dagger for 'those' situations... like when i stumbled into the house with undead. icky business.
this roleplaying (including stuff like going back to my house to equip for an adventure if there's one to be had, never showing my weapon around town, playing the game as cinematically and dramatically as i can...) doesn't really achieve much, but it's kinda fun.
of course the perfect game would be a daggerfall-scaled multiplayer oblivion. one can dream

Oblivion is what you make of it, and is really at it's best when you slow down and have some fun. I don't play like that, because I am a bit of a powergamer at heart, however it sounds like alot of fun. If only I had the patience.

You mean the horse was over-encubered because u had lot of stuff in your inventory or u put them, how to say this...in the horse, like u can do with Shadowmare?
I enchanted my Deadric armor with feather spell so my inventory is around 500, but the problem is tham I'm always over-encubered when I take it off, so I can't wear my favorite robe and hood which I've taken from the Dark Brotherhoood messanger, this MM guy which brings me to another question - can I get in contact with DB in any other way once this quy is dead!

No idea about Shadowmere, now riding standard Black, still my capacity around 500 , horse's about 600, feather nearly 500 total and still I could barely move

Once again, put the necro-posting fine on my tap...
I have 100 of almost every Attribute, (except luck)
And can pin down a guard in one shot.

My brag is that I have 100 strength, and 85 defence, and over 250 health so when NPC's hit me, they don't even do visible damage

I'm curious too, even with custom enchanted weapons I can't kill a guard in one shot, considering they're twelve levels above my own.

OMG

This is by far the most extreme instance of necroposting I have ever seen.
"Fines Lunar 10000 septims"
I won't lock it, but promise me that you keep it alive then

Just don't make it a habit.

This topic is so old that it's new to me
As far as bragging, hmmm...
Several of my characters are really attractive looking because of how much effort I put into their faces and outfits--does that count?
