First of all, this is not like the "Post fun characters", this is to post your MAIN character that you play in Oblivion. Their class, race, guild ranks and (if you would even like) their history, and home.

Arch-Mage Arotos Markos
Dunmer Magister-
-Alteration
-Blade
-Destruction
-Illusion
-Light Armor
-Mysticism
-Restoration

Arch-Mage of the Morrowind Mage's Guild
Master-Wizard of the Cyrodiil Mage's Guild
Brother of the Morag Tong
House Brother of House Hlaalu

Resides: Bartus Family Hall in Chorrol.

History: Arotos Markos, born into a fairly rich Dunmer family, had been trained in the arcane arts since he was little but a child. On the dawn of manhood, he became the youngest Dunmer to be sent to the Arcane University. There, he furthered his studies as a magister, and after many years, he returned to his hometown of Vivec to continue his work in the Morrowind Mage's Guild. Following twenty long years of service in the Vvardenfell region, he arose to the rank of Arch-Mage of the Morrowind Mages' Guild. Content with himself, he returned to the Imperial City, and made his name known as becoming a Master-Wizard in the Cyrodiil Mage's Guild. He now resides in the Bartus Family Hall with his bodyguard and long time friend, the Battlemage Ravar Bartus.

Personality: Rude, Vile, Cruel; Intelligent, Logical.

gee i feel really lazy for never bothering to roleplay any of my chars in the slightest. so i can sum them all up by saying, "some guy who is head of everything and master of every skill by having spammed that skill for hours while watching tv".

by Stan RedGuard
Name: Stan Marsh.(Bite me.:P)
Summary: A Redguard(Yes, I had to tweak the skin a lot.:P) who specializes in close combat in Heavy Armor. Major skills are Blade, Block, Heavy Armor, Restoration, Armorer, Athletics, and Light Armor. Currently at level 15, mixed Crusader/Enchanted armor and Umbra. I hope to raise my armorer skill so I can repair magical items, as having to pay 2,500 gold is annoying. Is the Hero of Kvatch, Grandmaster of the Blades(Jauffre, Baurus, and Captain Steffan all died during the final few missions, and since I am now the most experienced Blade, I am the Grandmaster, whether the game says so or not.XD) Master of the Fighter's Guild, Champion of Cyrodiil, Divine Crusader of the Knights of the Nine, Arch-Mage of the Mages Guild, MadGod of teh Shivering Isles and the Duke of Dementia, and Arena Champion(known as the Crimson Blade.) Was once infected with vampirism while granting the peace of death to some of Azura's followers. Helljoint and Brain Rot also at one point. Father was a Redguard Officer who planned to revolt against the ruling class, but was discovered and killed. Mother and child fled to Chorrol and then the Imperial City, where mother was killed by a Redguard assassin. Suspects that the family was torn apart because his mother was a Nord, which explains his pale complexion. Grew up in an Imperial City orphanage. Killed a citizen during a drunken brawl and was scheduled for execution when the game starts. Is looking to repent for his past sins. He hopes to gain enough allies to find and kill the Redguard who killed his parents. Can be found often on the road, but has places to stay in Anvil, Skingrad, Chorrol, Bruma, Leyawin, and Cheydinhall. Is rather nice, but is always suspicious and usual befriends people for their servies or information. Sees the end of the third age as a signal that after he kills those who killed his family that perhaps he will lead the Redguard to become the dominant race in the land.
Fame: 131
Infamy: 1

- The Arena Champion, due to me completing the quest for him.
- A Bruma Guardsmen in the Gate that opened near there. Accident!
- The Dark Brotherhood speaker; the Assassin's Guild is evil!
- A Kvatch Guardsmen while clearing the castle. Accident!
- Dorian, for his gold. Think about it; I'm the only agent of the Blades undertaking major operations outside of Cloud Ruler Temple. Wouldn't I have at least the financial backing of the Empire?

Franar the Nord. Getting better at everything all the time but still lacking any social skills. Think a strawberry blonde tank in mismatched armor, unsubtly sneaking with the biggest sword she can find. And I once got her almost to lvl 37 before deciding I'd done it all wrong again!

Now, Franar has a story. She grew up at the Waterfront. She never had a father and her mother drunk herself past Oblivion when she was about ten or so. She had family, though. She had her little sister Frekka to take care of. She preyed on the unguarded barrels of Imperial City, and she thought they lived all right. Until the nighgt she came home to find Frekka gone.

Lacking any social skills, she punched the first person she saw. Unfortunately, Hieronymus Lex was out on Waterfront patrol that night. She hurt her knuckles and had to go to the Imperial Prison. Some stupid old geezer helped her out and gave her a strange stone. She's keeping that stone until she finds a buyer for it.

She bought back her home. She heard her sister had been seen leaving with a woman in black. For a while she hunted Vampires but it gave her nothing except better fighting skills and some good equipment.

Everything changed, however, when she stumbled onto a bloodstained note in Cadlew Chapel. Suddenly she understood about the black-robed woman. She worshipped Hannibal Traven long before she actually met him (although she has a soft spot for this dark-and-handsome Raminus who taught her to read and explained her casting spells is all right).

She did find Frekka. Or will, in her current incarnation. In Fort Cuptor. Again, she will try to pick up her little overalls only to watch them crumble into dust in her hands.

And then everything will go red again.

I'd be surprised if she ever manages to finish the Main Quest ;)

Main character:

Ibis 'Wizard' Thelemanz is a Breton wizard (surprise surprise) who is adept at pretty much everything. He fights mainly with a sword (Goldbrand mainly) and Destruction magic, and also highly skilled in all the other magic arts, blunt weapons and both light and heavy armour. As a Man of Action (tm) he is Champion of Cyrodiil, Grand Master of the Fighters' Guild, Arch-Mage, The Gray Fox, Lord Sheogorath and Grand Champion of the Arena, and whatever you become when you complete Knights of the Nine. He also enjoys sunsets and long walks in the park.

Other characters:

Ed 'The Eagle' O'Brien is an Imperial ranger with a complicated story. After escaping from prison through an incident that he didn't really care about, he reverted to his life of crime (how do you think he ended up in prison in the first place?), ascending to the highest ranks of the Thieves' Guild. When he killed a guard on a botched quest he was approached to join the Dark Brotherhood, and accepted. Able to move almost completely undetected, a skilled archer and gifted alchemist, he became a notorious assassin. However, when a Mythic Dawn sleeper agent killed a friend of his right in front of him in Chorrol, he had a sudden change of heart.

Saving the cities of Kvatch and Bruma had convinced him to change from villain to hero. Swapping his black robes for white ones he became known as The Divine Avenger and managed to end the Oblivion crisis.

He has now turned to the wilderness. As an archer, swordsman, alchemist and armourer he is capable of surviving for long periods of time in the backcountry, and is currently exploring the furthest reaches of Cyrodiil in his Morag Tong armour and tan hood - wildman chic is certainly in this year.

by Baltharan
Name: Baltharan
Race: Redguard

Spurned by his own kind and all others for being closer to blue than any other colour (like an albino but dark blue) Baltharan took up a rusty iron long sword and set out to make a name for himself and return to Hammerfell a triumphant warrior. Unfortunately he was soon arrested for reasons unknown and only through fortune and some very negligant Blades was able to escape, despite being the only blue redguard in all of Tamriel nobody seemed able to indentify him as one of the few escapees from the imperial dungeons. Returning to his mission Baltharan chose to completely ignore the rantings of a clearly senile Emporer who had apparently 'seen him in dreams' and instead wondered about killing things whenever the bizarre music in his head told him he should After an excursion into a goblin cave where he spent most of him time running away and cowering Baltharan found a goblin staff which was far more powerful than any of the crappy rusty weapons he had picked up prior to that, it was at this point that Baltharan realised venturing into dangerous places came with rewards and he set about working his way through whatever he found gaining a little more confidence each time and also learning that finding a quiet corner in which to 'wait' and catch his breath did wonders for his chances of survival. Strolling into a pub to fill up on whatever was cheapest Baltharan stumbled across a man whose sons were about to go goblin hunting, he wanted a peice of the action. Unfortunately shortly after arrival the brothers completely forgot about the incoming hoards of goblins and left Baltharan to do the dirty work while they hacked chunks out of each other. Baltharan thought this was odd but deciding it was probably a family feud left the brothers to it and focused solely on the goblins only to then be shafted out of a proper reward by their father who seemed to blame him for one of the brothers demises, Baltharan blamed their upbringing. To cut a very, very long story short... needing money Baltharan signed up as a human punchbag at the arena, wondered fairly aimlessly occasionally chatting to people who wanted him to do things, eager to make his name he did them to the best of him ability but found he had little patience for many of his idiotic companions, who he would attempt to lock in certain places before discovering he could tell them to wait. After a while everyone he chatted to started repeating the same things so he begrudgingly followed the senile old man's requests only to discover this would lead to the glory he craved... (phew, I'm exhausted, credit to anyone who manages to reads all of this...)

Marco Mordas
Dark Elf/Dunmer
Level 2 (OOO slows down your leveling a lot)

Supposed to be a first cousin or something of my Morrowind character. This is my second attempt to make an almost fully mage character. Like the other two times I've tried it in Oblivion and Morrowind, though, I have to fall back on blades.

Backstory: Marco was born and grew up in eastern Cyrodiil, with some heritage connections to his Vvardenfell roots but overall more Western influences. On his way home from a trip to Balmora to visit family, he [&@%!] off some soldiers at a customs checkpoint and landed himself in prison. He was released early under mysterious circumstances. Highly classified records show a meeting with Jauffre several days after his release, but after that incident he has essentially dropped off the radar. His skills are more suggestive of a mage but nevertheless he appears to be adept at staying out of sight.

There is no evidence of any permanent residence, but he is a registered member of the Mages Guild so it is likely that he is staying at various guild halls, experimenting with spellcasting and alchemy.

Major Skills:
Destruction
Mysticism
Mercantile
Restoration
Blade
Alteration

Heavy Armor: 110
Acrobatics: 125
Light Armor: 88

Factions
Head of everything he can be head of (although he never got invited into the blades, I think it has something to do with trying to open Jauffre's chest before he unlocked it :x), except KoTN, because I did that on another character. I'll get round to it later. :P

Other Info
Has been around for over 140 hours, and has been through 356 days.
Has completed 195 quests (I can't find any more -.-)
339 Fame and 65 Infamy
Stolen 999 items. (I hit the mark there, didn't I? He hasn't stole in awhile either -- He's being a good boy. Well, aside from the occasional murder.)
Made 1246 potions o_O
Read 844 books.
Found 70 nirnroots.
Has items to get up to 100% reflect spell, reflect damage & chameleon. Also has a et of speed increasing leather armour (like he needs it >.<)
Mainly wears Black Hand robes (although he sometimes wears either of the Ayleid Crowns or an Amber helm), Umbra Sword (he likes the elven dagger too) & teh Escutcheon of Chorrol.
I RP on him quite a lot -- mainly stuff like his daily life, but occasionally he like to hide in people's houses, (especially in shops) at the top of the stairs, waiting for the owner to come up before lunging at them with his Elven Dagger... :Twisted Evil:

And thats about it :D

Zhul hails from High Rock, north of Orsinium in the Wrothgarian Mountains. He differs from most Orcs in that he uses violence as a last resort and is a devout followerer of Stendarr. Due to differenences with his father, Lord Gunther gro-Gotham, and brother Grog, he left High Rock and traveled to Cyrodiil.

I'm writing a "prequel" to Oblivion using him as a main character.

Umbra, his sword, is angered as despite all of the fighting and even him travelling to the realme of a God, Stan has yet to fall to the sword's evil whims. The sword has devised a scheme to satisfy itself; Get Stan to join the thieves guild for some sort of noble purpose, and then mutate that purpose and his beliefs so he will join the dark brotherhood and become a killer. Once the bonds with the Nine are severed...

Chapter two of the Aicantur story!

So, I'm playing with Aicantur, an High Elf who wants.... POWER!!
He's a Spellsword, with all the magic schools except Restoration (he took Blade instead), with the Atronach Birthsign (I want the max. Magicka amount possible!! I shall conquer Cyrodiil!!! ok, that sucked) and Intelligence & Endurance (I don't need Willpower! Who needs Willpower when you don't know fear?)

I've bought Skingrad Manor at level 4 with 6 hours of playing time. How? By doing the Umbacano quests, which also added many Ayleid Ruins to my map which I now use as homes.
And I've done the Arena until the Gladiator Rank for some Fame points (you need a Fame of 15 to buy the Skingroud House).
Anyway, I've also joined the Mages Guild (and stolen all their alchemic equipment to sell it :P) and the Fighters Guild (after the "A Rat Problem" quest, I killed all her rats and she was screaming so I killed her too, because I didn't liked that sound).

Oh and I've accepted the first DB Mission: killing that guy in The Inn of Ill Omen, but I'm not going to do it until I'm level 25 because most rewards
are leveled and someone who wants absolute power also wants items with the highest enchantment possible!
However, I forgot this when I was doing the Ghost Ship of Anvil quest so now I have a Cutlass which is leveled but the enchantment is not very strong.
So I killed many pirates in Anvil as a 'revenge'.

That is pretty cool.
What I want to do with my character is have him slowly perverted towards evil until his morals are usurped by Umbra. However, his will to complete his mission is too strong for even Umbra to stop, so Umbra helps him to take over Hammerfell. Meanwhile, an assassin sent by by the Imperial Legion is silenced by him. It turns out the Imperial Legion found out from an Elder Scroll that he is prophesized to do great evil. Upset at this, his morals come back and he is able to quickly subdue Umbra. It becomes obvious to him that the struggle with Umbra can never be won by him, so he he sets a course for the sunken continent of his ancestors where he throws a crate lined with much metal containing the sword to the botom. He then makes a pilgrimage to shrines to beg forgiveness to the Nine, and he goes on to lead Hammerfell and eventually is a member of the New Council, which rules the Empire. He is credited with making many social, economic, and political reforms that make the Empire stronger, and when he dies, all of Tamriel mourns.

However, six hundred years later, a cult has a flotilla near the site where he dropped the sword. They go there to sacrifice some virgins they stole from the rebellion-ruined Tamriel. One of the victims is thrown overboard and sinks with the weight of the cannonball attached to his foot. He falls down near the site where the sword is, and as if by magic or its own will, the sword manages to break free and get close to the victim. He grasps the sword and goes to cut the chain off, but finds that he has been able to slip free. He emerges from the water and slaughters the cult. Between Umbra and the Daedric princes who had manipulated events to get him there, he is powerful enough to have done what he did.

For he becomes known as Ashir the Butcher, a warlord who shatters Tamriel and sends it into a thousand years of darkness and allows Daedra to roam free.

After I've read your (Stan RedGuard's) nice story, it's time for...

Chapter Three of the Aicantur Story!

I found this scroll somewhere (and I won't tell you where):

Secret list of power

* I want to become the Arch-Mage of the Mages Guild.
* I want to become the new Ayleid King of Cyrodiil and kill Ocato.

After I have reached these two ranks, I will create a new law for Cyrodiil. It will contain the following rules:

1: Everyone must serve The King and pray to him three times a day, when the sun comes up, when the sun is just above us and when the sun goes down.
2: Killing and stealing is a crime unless you're ordered to do so by The King.
3: The Imperial City Palace District is a restricted area for everyone except The King himself and his Loyal Servants.
4: You're not allowed to visit Ayleid Ruins. We will soon restore them and use them as our cities, but you may not come within a mile distance of one of the ruins. If you get closer, you'll get killed by one of the Loyal Servants.
5: Everyone must give 90% of his money to The King so he has the gold to restore all the Ayleid Ruins.

However, I won't tell them this order which I'll give to my Loyal Servants:

Cooperate with the Daedra and let them open Great Gates in every city except the Imperial City. Once they're done, I will kill them all, which will be no problem due to my huge power, and the Ayleid Ruins will be the new cities of Cyrodiil.

But my Secret List of Power continues:

* Become the Grandmaster in the Fighters Guild
* Become the Listener in the Dark Brotherhood and kill the Night Mother
* Become the Gray Fox in the Thieves Guild
* Kill all the Necromancers, Conjurers, Bandits and Maraudrs

By doing this, there will be no one who can stand up against me. And I can torture FG, TG and DB members until they become my Loyal Servants.

* Finish all the quests in the Shivering Isles and becoming the new Sheogorath

It will get me more power and it seems nice to me to be a Daedric Prince and be immortal.

* Finish the Knights of the Nine quest

So I can kill Umaril, who could be a dangerous opponent (however, I'm 100% sure that I'm stronger than him).

(* skill at Expert)

Affiliations:
* Fighters Guild: Guardian
* Mages Guild: Warlock
* Knights of the Nine: Divine Crusader, though this was just a passing phase for her, and really wishes people would quit calling her "Sir Knight"
* Order of Virtuous Blood: Sister
* Knights of the White Stallion: Knight-Errant
* Court of Madness: Madgod (formerly Duchess of Mania)

Started out planning to be a stealth archer who used Illusion a lot to confuse enemies. The Illusion part has not panned out as her Magicka is somewhat stunted because of focusing almost exclusively on Agility, Speed and Endurance; and so she still cannot cast beyond Apprentice spells.

Her main strategy is to stealth around and snipe everything she can with the bow (Perfect Amber Bow crafted with a matrix), with the help of 75 Alchemy skill for poisons. If that fails she falls back on Blade (favoring Goldbrand), which has lagged a bit behind.

All-in-all a fun character to play.

Residing in the warm climate of Skingrad, I have became one of the most powerful members of Cyrodiil, even with my level.

I wear these enchanted items:
Curiass of a ghost
Greaves of a ghost
Boots of a sly thief
Silenced gauntlets
Masque of Clavicus vile
Ring of Khajiti
Ring of shadows

I use these weapons:
Goldbrand
Mehrunes Razor

I reside to be invisible, hidden from anyones sight to be left alone. (100% Chameleon)

Background:
Being born in the underworld of fire, Jreff was a voracious fighter, specializing In

- Light armor
- Destruction
- Security
- Sneak
- Acrobatics
- Marksman
- Alteration

After being sent to Cyrodiil, he found Skingrad to be a suitable home to reside on his quest:

The order of Section 8, which was to see that Cyrodiil was to be controlled by the main leader, Aelux, the Daedric God of the Second order of Oblivion - To open the last residing oblivion gate - Slumbering, but still powerful enough to re-open one last gate, the door of madness in the Nibenay basin.

I was asked to go through the gate, and find out everything. I had completed everything Sheogorath required, and then beat Jyggalag, and became The Prince of Madness, and the second order of oblivion.

After doing this, Aelux gave me the last remaining Sigil stone - And I had opened the gate, but soon the gate collapsed under the order, and the fierce new Daedric lords going out of the gate, and the gate returned to It's original state - The door of Madness.
