How the heck am I supposed to raise my armorer skill? I have all magic armor and since I'm skill 33, I can't repair it until I'm a Journeyman. But I can't get my skill to raise. I trained the max for my level. Also, I have been wearing a leather set and letting monsters beat up on me, then I repair it, but I'm not getting any skill ups. There has to be a better way. I have fortify armorer spells, but you can't repair magic armor until you get to journeyman!

How do you make that spell? I have the Frostcrag Plug-in, but this spell is not available to me at the altar.

On the left you'll be presented with a list of all the spell effects you can use to make a new spell. Most of these are effects of spells you know and are able to cast.
means you need to buy one you'll be able to cast from some seller (guild), may be on touch/target, but must be weak enough so you can cast it at all. Then you'll be able to spellmake one.

Another option is to take all the crap armor you have, and instead of selling it, bring it home to Frostcrag and make a training treasure chest. Put all your broken armors/weapons you've used for training and save them for future armorer training.

Should I not be using leather armor for this? I damage my leather armor pieces down to 0, but they repair back to 100 in one or two clicks. I'm repairing the whole set and not getting any skill ups!

Probably have to have magic armor at that point....not sure haven't got it above 50 yet.

I increased my armour by always picking up enemy armour and fixing that.
Plus I generally use non-magic weapons, it always [&@%!] me off if they run out of charge and I get that "This weapon does not have enough charge" every single damn hit.
Also before Journeyman Armourer, I deliberately took extra non-magic equipment with me, in case I was stuck in a dungeon with all broken gear and no way to fix it.

Fix stuff with repair hammers. You will gain experience for the levels whenever you fix stuff. I am sure you will reach journeymen eventually.

Fallen, please notice the date of the last post before posting in a thread. It's over a year since this thread was alive. Most likely the user has found a solution by now.
Thanks
