Having a Problem with "The Purification" Quest.

The last person I need to get is Telaendril. My marker on the map says that she is just south of Border Watch but the Marker is a red color and when I go their there isnt anything or anyone around. But when I look at my compass it is telling me to go to Leyawiin, but when I go into Leyawiin the marker by Border Watch turns green. When I leave Leyawiin it turns red again! It just seem to be a big Loop and I cant get her to show up anywhere. Has anyone else had this problem and/or knows how to fix it?

That is strange. Fast travel is not instant, NPC's do travel, so you may chase them for a little while. She should not be running back and froth though.

You said that your compase points to Leyawiin, does your map marker show in Leyawiin?

Have you checked the houses in Border Watch?
Getting rid of Telaendril may be tricky, as she is away on a spying mission most of the time. One way to determine her whereabouts is looting Ocheeva's corpse and getting Telaendril's note. You can also follow her quest marker on your map. If you don't want to follow her around, you can wait until Middas, when she returns to the Cheydinhal Sanctuary. Alternatively, you can find her near the Mages Guild during the day. You can choose an appropriate dialogue option to infuriate her and prompt her to attack you. If you run to any nearby guards, they will take care of her for you, saving you the trouble of fighting and an unnecessary bounty.
I normally got her in the Sanctuary, or Leyawiin

I did have the note and I waited around and the marker didnt move. I did some of the main quest and she still didnt move. My Map marker is about quater mile southeast of Border Watch. My compase doesnt even show the marker in that area untill I am inside Leyawiin and only when Im in the city is the marker green. Ive been running around Leyawiin and I havent seen her anywhere. Ill check out the Sanctuary and see if she is in their. Ill post with the Results.

Also so people dont jump down my throat about it I did check out the site to see if it was a bug or something and it didnt mention anywhere about this being a possible problem. Im on the 360 and I just downloaded the patch before I did this quest.

I had the same problem with the Anvil Manor quest, where he (SPOILERS!!!!!!!!)
tells you to follow him back to the manor. Then, while I was following him, he just vanished! His quest marker said he was in the same cell as I was, but he wasn't in Anvil

From what I am thinking, she may have fallen through the ground. If you were on PC, you could have tried TCL.

If you know her pattern find one of the places she finishes up and use the wait command, wait an hour or two at a time and hopefully she'll come to you. Otherwise I got nothing...

Thats the problem she isnt anywhere! Ive waited and the marker never moves she never comes back to the hiding spot. Im cleaning up the Gates that have spawned around Leyawiin to see if that doesnt help but this is really ticking me off. I havent played the game in about two weeks just because of this. Kind of Depressing.

Something else that I found out too that I didnt know is that she doesnt wear her Shrouded Armor out in public. I looked her up in the ESP and they have a picture of her in just reguler cloths. I didnt know this and I may have actually walked by her and not even known it. The other thing that I was thinking is is it possible that a bandit or a monster killed her as she traveled? I would have thought that the kill would have counted for me right when it happened but it hasnt. Im kind of looking for a body in the wilderness as well just in cause. Im hoping that one either one is what my problem was. But if you guys could can you tell me where out side the hide out you guys have found her? It would help me out a lot. When I find her her death will be slow! :Twisted Evil:

I haven't played in months, and just started up again. I was walking through Leyawiin the other day and I noticed a naked body lying in the street, and it was Telaendril. Apparently I don't clean up after my kills :D .

Was she by the west gate or just walking around?

Lol when I did that quest they were all happily sitting in the Cheydinhal sanctuary...Until I put arrows into all of them, of course.

I have done that quest several ways. probably the most entertaining, besides the aforementoined commando approach, is using a bunch of poisoned apples.

The first time I did the quest I didn't have to deal with Telaendril, because for some strange reason Ocheeva killed her. It was the first time I entered the sanctuary through the dwell. I talked with Ocheeva about my quest and as soon as we finished, she started attacking Telaendril...
