How does the star system work?

I noticed the stars above my name and i was thinking. at how many post you get how many stars? for example
1 post half star
50 post a star
100 post 1,5 star
200 post 2 stars
or something like this. can someone finish this?

it seems to be like 1000 posts for 3 star and l think 2k for 4 I don't know honestly.

in case you didn't know Bear Codex and I are all pretty much equal when it comes to power and honestly I would have made these changes a while ago but enough of that. Daveh is the one who does all of these things.

1000 posts for 3 Septims? I have around 500 and i'm starting on my third coin so that can't be right.

actually it doesn't move up at a constant speed I have 1770 some odd posts and I have 3 coins (stars) I know that I have full green coins but I checked what it would be without that.

I actually only have 3 I am guessing I will have 3.5 when I hit 2000 though
