(years too late, but I'm noticing the absence of a thread dedicated to this place)
I just got into the big room full of gears with water underneath. Anticipating trouble, I did a quick-save, and then jumped into the water. And it's completely opaque! I'm swimming around in a completely blank grey void. After a minute or so, I figure out how to get occasional head-above-water views, but it's like working a janky periscope that only functions when you're not moving.
Is this how it is for everyone? The wiki page doesn't mention this, which seems like a strange oversight if that's how it always works.
