oblivion's map scale?

hi all. can anyone help me easily determine the map scale for oblivion's maps of cyrodiil?
for example, what's the width of the province of cyrodiil in miles (or feet), from the furthest point west to the furthest point east? how about north to south?
on a smaller scale, what's the precise measurement of the diameter of the imperial city in feet, from outer wall to outer wall?
thanks much to any who can provide answers!

It depends on which pill you took! "One pill makes you larger, and one pill makes you small, and the one that mother gives you don't do anything at all!"

Sorry about that, I just had to seeing as you are whiterabbit.
I really don't have any answer for your question, but Welcome to the UESP forums.

and also seeing as how there is no real way to measure it and how the measurements in Oblivion are all made up I guess the only way you could to it is if you have a detect life spell and you were to see how far it reaches and try to get the person or creature to stand still while you do this.

Cyrodill is a province. Not a country.

does that mean 16 square miles of travelable area, or that the map is laid out within a 4-mile by 4-mile square? for example, is the colorized game map on the main map page (sorry, my account is too new to allow the code or even address) four miles wide by four miles tall?
if it's simply 16 square miles of travelable area, that space could fill too wide an array of dimensions to guess at.
on that note, i suggest someone build the cyrodiil theme park within a 16-square mile area and rebuild everything as it appears in the game. that would, quite possibly, rule.

i would think it would be more like 8-mile by 2-mile
