Another expansion?

I wanted to know if other expansions came out. on a lott of sites they say that shivering isles was the last expansion. maybe that means that they are working on a tes 5
does that makes cense?

There will be no more official expansions. And the time between TES games is about 4 years. So we can expect TES5 around 2010.

This is why questions like this are a bad idea. Unless you work for the company, you don't know.
They did two expansions for Morrowind. They have done several plug-ins, and one expansion for Oblivion. Will there be a second?
They still have to relese the Plug-ins for PS3.
There are more than just a few people working there, they can do several projects at a time. The priorities may be other games, but they could still have a few people in the initial stages of TES5.
Then again, there may not even be a TES5.

knowing basic marketing techniques there will be a TES 5 I mean they would be mentally retarded to not make a TES 5

techinically there is a second if you consider knights of the nine i consider it an expansion because it expands on the game which is what a expansion is

It does not expand the game more than the other DLC's. SI expands the game in that way you get a whole new land, and it add's several new quests, weapons, ingredients, creatures+++. An expansion takes a lot more work than a DLC.

i still say bethesda will half @$$ it and call KOTN a expansion and do you really want another expansion or do you want TES5 personally i would prefer they work on TES5

A combination of both Morrowind and Oblivion would make a great TES5, IMO! Take the best of both games!

the map is updated as the games come out so after a new game would come out there will be more detail.

I think that new elder scroll games would need large areas.
So I guess that:
TES5 ->Elsweyr+Valenwood+Summerset Isle
TES6 ->Black March+remaining Morrowind
TES7 ->Whole of Tamriel
TES8+ (there are still other continents and planets)
