It almost makes you want to turn to the dark-side...

I was doing my best to keep Martin alive while Oblivion Gates were opening outside of Bruma, and the bad guys were coming out attacking everyone in sight.

In my attempt to protect Martin I inadvertently whacked one of the guards. It's kind of like 'friendly fire', if you know what I mean. He simply got in the way of my Claymore of Doom (an enchanted claymore). Actually, in all the mayhem I may even have delivered a death-blow to the guard, but quite honestly I didn't even realize I hit him.

I got an update with words indicating 'the Gods have taken notice, don't carry on down this path, or...yadda yadda, blah blah'.

WTF!?!? I said to myself, not knowing what I had done wrong. My fame was at 156 and my infamy was 0 before starting the battle, no stolen goods, no assaults, nothing to get guards [&@%!] off at me. After that message I checked and I instantly had infamy of 1, and 1000 bounty.

Well, when the update came indicating the Great Gate was open I rushed in, did my thing, and closed the Great Gate, thus doing my part to save all of Tamriel from imminent destruction.

Then, when I get out and hand the Great Sigil Stone to Martin, he thanks me, tells me to meet him in the Great Hall of Cloud Rule Temple when I'm ready, people are cheering, etc., and then some [&@%!]-ass guard runs up to me and yells: "Stop! You've broken the law...." you know the rant.

And, when I pay the fine, just to move on with the quest he says. "Too bad. I was hoping you'd put up a fight."

WTF!?!?

Thanks for nothing, eh, ass-hole! I just saved your sorry ass, and everyone in the City of Bruma, and I get this punk-ass guard's attitude.

I saved the game, and seriously thought about turning to the dark-side....

I haven't as yet, and will likely just keep being the 'good-guy', but I seriously want to waste that guard!

And, yes, of course I realize it's just a game, and the scripts act the way they do, but...wow, it can really [&@%!] you off, you know what I mean?

But, even without that message I thing some punk guard would have come at me.

I closed the Kvatch gate at level 25 and thus we were overun by deadroths and xivilais. While I was fighting, a guard got too close to me and I attacked him, and it happened to be the killing blow, then everyone called me a psycopat and I got a bounty. Damned AI should keep out of your way when you fight! But it's funny when an enemy attack his friend and they start fighting each other. I sneak and take a bet.

yea friendly fire or hits lol..is big problem.. i wish someone could make mod whitch actualy removes it it forced me to get 2000 bounty on myself once

Its not that bad really, decent pay, plenty of vacation time, and good insurance.

yes but if you are a Vampire it will cost you an extra 100 septims a year no biggy

i used to be a vampire then for some reason u know when u dont feed for a while and everyone can see ur a vampire well that happened so i decided to feed but even after i did they still could see me as a vampire so i went to deepscorn and i am a vampire no more bu i am evil :twisted: i am the gray fox listener ive killed everyone in all the chapels mages and fighters guild halls (unless they have a crown and im currently in the process of doing every quest in the game so then noone will have crowns and they can all die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :twisted: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :twisted: !!!!!!!!!!!! :twisted:

ya sure why not and while im at it ill break into the inperial palace and kill all the monks in the elder scrolls library :twisted: or i would if i knew where to get the key to the guards chambers for some reason its locked from the way i did for the ultimate hiest and im so mad!!! !!!

since i have depscorn with all ups theres no point to be a vamp

would killing everyone in an entire city then claiming the town as your own property considered evil?

i go on killing rampages but i save b4 i do them....then i reload save file
(they are fun though!!!!!)
i just use my awesome bow of super snippyness to kill them from about 200 ft away... )
