If you read a book while using the toilet, what is the weirdest?

I am unusual for reading the Diary of Samuel Pepys, M. A., F. R. S. on the loo.

If we're talking any toilet and any form of reading, I could make a list of religious texts I've found discarded and read on tour buses and commercial jets

Weirdest overall though... had to be a torn-up copy of The Shadow over Innsmouth in an old wooden outhouse as a child. I was staying over with my Aunt and she was house sitting at a relatives old farm. Apparently one of my great uncles thought it was cool, but great great grammy did not and tried to destroy it as an article of satanic worship. She should have just burned it, but she didn't think one of her boys would take the time to glue the pages back.

That does sound unusual...

'Shadow over Innsmouth' = Lovecraft?

Yeah, me finding that old eviscerated book inspired me to read more of Lovecraft's work

As a bonus, runner-up for weirdest for me was a small booklet on horror writers of New England while on a public portajohn in Boston (Which led me to read some of Stephen King's work)
The booklet wasn't in the john, I was taking a trolley tour as a field trip and just happen to have it on me from one of those pamphlet shelves

The glory of books - to be found in the most random of places!

As a tangent, my family always has at least one of Uncle John's Bathroom Reader, while it being in a bathroom isn't weird, the facts and short stories you find in them can be pretty out there

Oh, never heard of that!
