Some of us have been thinking that it would be fun to hold a UESPF Voice Chat session on Discord at some point.

So, to collect data, who would be interested in this, and what days/times would be best and worst for you?

Ooh, I heard about this! What fun. ^-^

I would join, but how much I would actually talk depends on how I'm feeling.

As for days, it can vary, so I think it would be better if things were suggested and then I could see if they worked.

Discord is a different service with a lot more features. Like IRC you can either use it in your browser or download the app/program, but the differences are:

- Instead of a single channel, you have a server with as many channels as you want. So we have a couple channels for misc topics like general chat, art, and temporary ones for spoilers for major movies; different ones for the ES games, one for a live feed from Bethesda’s Twitter/Twitch/ESO’s site/etc, several related to the UESP itself (like a general wiki one and different private ones for different site roles).

- More features - you can have an avatar, edit your posts, block users (auto-hide their posts for you), servers can upload custom emotes, etc

- You can create voice channels for group voice chat, or do so in a PM. It’s replacing stuff like Skype and Teamspeak for a lot of people. Also in PMs you can video chat

Ours is also a lot bigger and more active than the old IRC; we’ve had 2700 people join the server and there’s dozens if not hundreds of people active over the course of a day. This includes both wiki and forum people, and random users of the site.

Literally can't do it due to data constraints. As what's his face in Star Trek once said "I cannea do it. She does not have the power." A text group chat, I can do. I can do it. Voice? No. *gasps* That means I've been a big phony about having the Thu'um. Noooooooooo! *weeps* Yeah, I'm in an overdramatic reaction jokester mood today.

But depending on september, there is a possiblity of me being in a position to do the voice chat. Though, if it causes my laptop to open the gates of oblivion, I'm lobbing a tart at you.

Dovah: Pied. Never mind, bud. Hopefully later in the year we can hear the mad voice that goes with the mad prince.

Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursdays. Just ping me in advance and I'll see if I'm available.

I'd be down to chat. Or at the very least lurk and laugh, as is normally more accurate. Evenings (from a EST standpoint) and/or weekends generally work best for me.

So, in accumulating all the data, a proposal is made:

How are you all for next week, maybe WEDNESDAY 20th @ 11.30pm (BST, IST), 6.30pm (EDT), 4.30pm (PDT)?
(I hope I got those times right).

What no no, why would I do that it's not like yall got a dentist complex or something. I myself am perfectly fine doing 4monthly intervals ^-^ (except the cost.. I no like giving away my food monies)
