Have you got any? If so: Where? What of?
If not: Would you like one? Where? What of?
What are your opinions on tattoos in general?

I've been toying with the idea for years of getting a tattoo, but I want to lose weight first. Not sure where I'd get it, but I have a good idea of what I would want.
It would be Morrowind themed, with the Sun and Moon symbol in some sort of stylized depiction. I would also have, written in the Daedric Alphabet, the quote "Each event is preceded by Prophecy. But without the hero, there is no Event." It's no secret that I love Morrowind, and I've always loved that quote. Aside from the in game context, I like the real world application of being responsible for the events in your own life.

The sun and moon symbol would make a good looking tattoo.
I think the quote might look cool going round the circumference of the arm or something.
I like abstract designs, so something like a tribal-style or celtic would be my choice.
Location wise, I'd think I'd like it on that area kind of between the shoulder and armpit (front).

Shame Bethesda haven't sold Moon & Star rings on their store, I guess there just wouldn't be as much demand for Morrowind jewelry (I'd totally want one though.)

Yeah, I think I would like to get a tattoo eventually. Not now, but yeah, eventually. It's been something I've been thinking about on and off. Maybe when I'm 25 or when something notable happens in my life. Or maybe for no reason at all!
I'd probably go for my front upper torso, left hand side. Probably get something super simple instead of a more complex design. Like a semi filled star.

I entirely forget...have I
not posted pics of my own ink?
Got this last October. 's about mid forearm, if it's at all unclear.
Those are the first pics I took. It needs touching up (some of the ink didn't quite take and such), and it ain't perfect. Apprentice tattooist. Lines are a bit uneven, the daedric letters aren't too clearly defined. Hell, one of the gears of my BOS tattoo is on the wrong side.
I don't really care anymore, though. (I mean, I'm going to get it touched up one of these days, but.) I'm still very happy to have gotten it. Even if it's not a masterpiece, it was a fantastic and new experience.
how much of an elitist prick am I, for wanting to roll my eyes every time someone asks me if it's a Skyrim tattoo?

You have. They're just lost somewhere in the GD.
I think that if I were to get a tattoo, I'd want to get it done with someone. I know one person who got matching tattoos with her sister, just on their ankles, and that's neat.

To be fair, while I've never had large aspirations to drill ink into my own skin.. I will admit >_> if I had to do one, it would be simple.. And probably reminiscent of what I use to do thru high school via a sharpie(Ya know, in between the times I wasn't trying to play connect-the-dots with any and every scar, blemish, and freckle, bc reasons)
Why, none other than surgical lines on my left forearm. To be more precise, one that wraps around near the wrist and the other just above the elbow >_> then have a straight path connecting the two across both sides of my forearm. Ya know, like as if someone wanted to take a scalpel and do an incision across the surgical lines and do a biopsy.. (Don't say it, I know I'm weird) But seriously, having those dotted blocky lines across my arm seems like a very simple and minimal request
That, or, ya know, I could just get a random name like Steve permanently set on my lower back just above the pelvis/hip

I'm not a fan of tattoos and would say i'm mostly indifferent but if I had the arms for it, I would seriously consider getting a dragon tattoo. Maybe, Alduin and Paarthnaux. Along with a Sheogorath one. Yes, I'm that geeky.

My arms are rather slim and would be like trying to pencil an entire murial on a single bit of wood.
Now, I could really make this thread awkward due to Beta's remark about a name. I won't though.

I have lots of things I'm planning on. I have to tick off the necessary series; I would like to either get the White Tree of Gondor or the Doors of Durin from Lord of the Rings somewhere on my arm or shoulder, I'm looking at getting either a Rebel or Imperial insignia from Star Wars somewhere on one of my shoulders or ankles, I would love to get the backside of the Persona tarots anywhere, and of course I would definitely want to get something related to my fraternity either on my wrist or my chest.
The most grand piece that I would ever like to get tatted on me, however, would be the Balamb Garden insignia from Final Fantasy 8.
That bad boy would probably go on my back, it's too elaborate to go on my teensy unconditioned shoulders. Would hurt like [&@%!], but I mean... Look at it!

Ooo, that FF8 insignia is cool.
Would you have the blue bits blue, or would you have it just black and 'skin'?
I have a t-shirt with the tree of Gondor, I approve.
I like tree symbols in general, so any tree would be good.
Does your Fraternity have the classic three greek letters name? If so, that would be a simple one to get.

Yeeeah, I'm going to need to find a spot somewhere for the Imperial insignia somewhere. Or something of the sort. AT-ST? Some Sith badass as a portrait? Something, somewhere, someday.

They would definitely be blue.

I mean, yes, I'm in Phi Mu Alpha (technically our full name is Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Men's Music Fraternity of America), but getting the letters is kinda lame IMO. My best friend and line brother actually got
a beautiful tattoo of the S we use to signify "Sinfonia" and I may get an exact duplicate on the opposite forearm. It's what
heterosexual life partners dudebros do.

I think getting an AT-AT or a TIE fighter somewhere would be pretty rad. A giant walker across the back might be neat.

Yep. I have a sea creature tattooed to the inside of my forearm.

Ooo, what kind? Kraken? Sea serpent? White whale? Giant clam? (Oh I hope it's the clam :3 )

That sounds cool! I too would be interested to know more. I remember you saying you got a tattoo years ago and always wondered what it was.
@Union
Sea creature! That's right up your street, no?

It's a starfish with a Psalm scripture. It's pretty.

I will get my new body ink after this lockdown, I hope that it will be over soon.
