Monday, December 26: Guild Photo and Events

We will be taking our annual Guild Photo on Monday 26th December. In an attempt to cover most timezones, we will be holding two Guild photoshoots - one at 3pm EST (8pm GMT / noon PST) & the other at 10pm EST (3am GMT / 7pm PST).

Please wear a UESP Guild Tabard! (Ask an Officer if you don't have a spare 2000 gold to buy one from our Guild Trader.)

We will be holding a Costume Contest after the Guild Photo at about 3.30pm EST. There are 3 categories:
1. Most Interesting Armor Set (can be a mixture of armor and laundered, stolen clothing if you like).
2. Most Awesomely Dyed Costume (dyeing a Crown Store costume).
3. "Ugly Sweater" (anything goes, as tasteless as possible).

The judges will be @Deandra and myself (@baratron) and the prize in each category will be a real-life Map of Tamriel. Designed by a fan and based on the world of Arena, this poster measures 24" x 18". You must be willing to give your postal address to Dave the Admin of UESP (a.k.a. @Reorx) in order to receive the real-life prize.

If you are unable to be online at 3.30pm EST on Monday, feel free to enter the Costume Contest in this very thread! Just make sure you post your entry before that time.

The Costume Contest will likely be followed by duelling or a Skyshard run or some other thing that seems like fun at the time.

On the 3pm group photo, I was the guy in the Imperial helmet: @fgoron2000 as J D Two. Ya wouldn't have thought I was the same guy who, 30 minutes later, would win ugly sweater because he frightened everyone in the entire zone <g>. I wasn't expecting to win with such a simple get-up, but hey, sometimes simple is best. I just took the scariest part of two different festivals & dyed them to match each other.

BTW, for the map, who should I provide a physical mailing address to?

@Reorx i.e. Dave H who founded the UESP wiki is the person to speak to about mailing addresses. I was going to wait until after our Raffle on Sunday and give him all of the winners' names at once, since I'm not sure how he wants to be sent them. (I am 99% sure that "A mail in ESO" is NOT his preferred choice though.)

btw, what race is that character, @fgoron2000? I would guess Imperial, but I'd like to be sure.

Sure, whatever you wanna do on the names & addresses stuff is fine, I just wasn't sure if I had missed something...and yeah, that was an Imperial character.

I think that's my Breton male sorcerer with his head turned. "Makhael"

I have the screenshots taken in the bar (including dancing and bar fights), but I haven't had a chance to do anything with them yet.
