Spinning the loading screen model prevents crashing

I'm wondering if anyone can relate to this.

I've started a new character on PC and whenever I load the save file it will always crash during the loading screen unless I start rotating the static model as soon as it appears.

I noticed it when I first started playing Skyrim on the PS3 and the threat of the game freezing increased the further I got into a save. For some reason, twiddling the sticks during a loading screen seemed to consistently prevent a freeze. Now I've tested it over and over on the (incredibly problematic) PC version and it's stopped CTD on every save file that's crashing on the same mod list.

I have no idea why this works or where this info would fit into the wiki.

To answer this: I have felt like it has worked like this before, but, I have always attributed it to my own internal confirmation bias. I can't think of any reason why it would help, besides some odd memory issue where if the game doesn't have a constant input it'll just crash (I have no idea why or how this could be), but I have experienced something like this in both Skyrim and Fallout 4. You are not alone.

Actually, I'll only play Skyrim with a controller, but yes. You just click and drag to rotate the model.
