I played Skyrim on my PC (via Steam) a few years ago and recently upgraded to the SE version. I thought I knew how to use the interface, but I have found that I can't use the Skills menu. It's there, but I can't activate a new skill. Also can't access the Level Up function. I am presently stuck. Am I doing something wrong? I have tried every key I could think of, but nothing works so far. Help!

Could be a new glitch in the SE edition. Do you know if anybody else is experiencing the issue, or is it just you?

As far as I know, just me. Can't find a guide on how to use the interface anywhere.

What is the method used to activate a skill, which keys do you press? How do you activate a Level Up? Maybe I have just forgotten.

I've always used WASD to navigate the skills and perks and then clicked on them to select which perk. As far as a level up, it should just be automatic when you've leveled up and go into the skills menu. It should bring up a box letting you pick magicka, health, or stamina.

Ok, so something is wrong with my install, I suppose, because when I click on the skills, nothing happens. Need to reinstall, I think. Thanks for the info.

The Enter key (or E?) should also work when you have a skill highlighted.

Thanks, but I tried E and the Enter key, as well as all the other keys. No response. Will see what a clean install does. Thanks again.
