Problems with Legendary Edition Patch

I've been having issues with the Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch. When I go onto the mods page in the Steam Workshop, it recommends this load order in my data files:
Skyrim.esm
Update.esm
Dawnguard.esm
Hearthfires.esm
Dragonborn.esm
Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch.esp
[Your other ESM files]
HighResTexturePack01.esp
HighResTexturePack02.esp
HighResTexturePack03.esp
Unofficial High Resolution Patch.esp
[The rest of your mods]

However, the Skyrim.esm and Update.esm aren't appearing in in my data files. Is this a problem? I'm afraid that I'm doing something wrong and that the mod wont work properly.

what program are you using to sort your mods?
it may ommit these because these are the basics for playing a fully updated skyrim, with Skyrim.esm containing skyrim's base data and Update.esm containing "recent" updates. If you have a working and fully updated copy of skyrim, these files will be there, so you should be fine. You may also check these files existence in \Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data.
Should you attempt to start skyrim while a mod misses a required file, it will simply CTD as far as I know.

I don't see how you cannot have Skyrim.esm and Update.esm without your game install being entirely ruined. Try booting up the game, it should not if you really do not have them. If it does boot up, then ignore it.
