unfamiliar foe - which mod is it from?

travelling thru south Skyrim, I was attacked by a "night raven" or a "midnight raven" who killed my horse and nearly yours truly... the character had full daedric armor and weapons and a thousand daedric arrows - where did this individual come from? I use several mods, but I cannot find reference to this character on any of them...
