The Crystal Maze
A text style logic puzzle adventure game
You are an adventurer in a magical land.
One sunny morning, you are walking across a vast field. The air is crisp and the breeze is cool. You stop for a moment to admire the mountainous scenery, when suddenly a woman comes running up to you.
The woman is middle aged and looks distressed.
"What is wrong?" You ask.
She looks at you and replies.
"Please help us. My village is under attack from the spirit of an evil sorcerer. He plagues our dreams and makes us violent towards one another. His magic is spreading to nearby villages too. He must be stopped!"
"How do you expect me to help?" You ask.
"There is a powerful crystal, hidden in a maze. The maze is wrought with traps and dangers. It also contains fiendish puzzles that only the most clever and cunning of adventurers will be able to solve. I'm sure you would be strong enough for the quest. The crystal is the only thing that can defeat the spirit."
The woman looks at you hopefully.
"What say you? Will you help us?"

The Game:
This game is a text style action/adventure game, based around solving logic puzzles by finding and using objects as you travel through a maze.
Each puzzle you find has a solution set out for it, but you are free to try any way you can think of to complete it. As long as it is logical and feasible, then it has the potential for success.
You can also interact with your fellow adventurers that have agreed to the quest (i.e. other playable characters).
In this game, you play as yourself. You do not need to create a character sheet.

As always, but having more than 3 players would be good

It would indeed, but I think everyone that is going to join has joined by now, unless a noob comes along, but people can still join once it has started too. (I'm quite surprised there's as many as 3 to be honest.

[After the woman's plea, three brave adventurers agreed to help save the villagers; Kirito, Fluffy the magic dovah, and Rigurt.]
"Oh, thank you! We are most grateful!" The woman smiles broadly and shakes your hand.
"But please be careful, the spirit may try to ward you off and scare you into turning back, but don't worry, he can only make you do harm if you fall asleep. Praise be that his powers are not yet great enough to taunt us while we wake! Go now, and hurry back!"
The woman shows you on your map where the maze is located. You start to walk away when she calls out,
"Wait, I almost forgot! Take these."
She hands each of you a small green stone with a rune carved into it.
"These will help you should you come to an...ill fate. But let us hope you will not need them."
The woman waves you farewell.
[The three adventurers travelled for 2 and a half days until they came near to the location marked on the map. Though they had been expecting a dark, foreboding labyrinth to come into view, instead there stood a magnificent castle.]
You approach the castle doors, cautious of your surroundings. Several metres before the entrance, you notice a shimmer in the air that spreads out in both directions parallel to the castle. You touch what you suspect to be a force-field, but your hand passes through unscathed. Bravely, you walk your whole body through. There is a whooshing noise, and suddenly the weapon you had been holding disappears into thin air. You check your satchel and pockets, and discover that all of your belongings have vanished too. You are only left with your clothing, empty satchel and the green rune stone.
The path to the castle door is clear. As you approach, the large double doors slowly open and you see a corridor inside. As you cross the threshold, several torches along the walls burst into flames, illuminating your path.
At the end of the corridor, you see a small chest sitting on a decorative wooden table.

Kirito, after taking in his surrounds, cautiously crossed the threshold of the corridor.

"That's got to be a trap." Fluffy the Magic Dovah told his companions.

"Guess we'll find out," Kirito said, putting one foot inside the corridor, testing it with half of his weight.

The corridor is silent and still, unresponsive to Kirito's movement.

"Looks like it is not a trap." Fluffy commented as he got his torch out and shone it down the corridor.

"Where did you get that?" Kirito asked, remembering that all of their equipment had disappeared as soon as they crossed the invisible barrier.
He then stepped fully into the corridor and began walking toward the chest at the end.

"Kept it in my arse as an emergency." Fluffy revealed to Kirito. "Let's save us the conversation of how, why and the awkwardness and skip to never bringing this up again."

Kirito made it to the end of the corridor. He could now see that the chest was fitted with a lock, but the lock looked old and weak.

"You do look thinner," Kirito quipped. He took hold of the lock and gave it a yank to test its strength.

The lock rattled but gave some resistance to being yanked. It looked like a bit more force would make it give way.

Rigurt (always willing to test his strength) started running towards the fancy chest.

With the three adventurers now inside the entrance, the large castle doors slowly closed behind them.
Rigurt reached the chest safely.
