The Molag Bal Game XVIII
It has been several years since the Daedra Molag Bal visited his particular brand of fun upon the land of Tamriel. Unfortunately for the people in the sleepy town of Nam-nimda, the Prince has grown bored and has set his sights on their town. Just off the coast from Southpoint in Valenwood, the town takes up the whole of Cisum Island. Being surrounded by water might once again prove useful for the hidden cultists who live there.
Once again it's time to play. Welcome to the Eighteenth Molag Bal Game! If you have never played before, the premise is simple: There are two groups - worshipers of Molag Bal, and normal villagers. The objective of the worshipers is to kill all the villagers during the night, one at a time, without being caught and killed off. They do so by secretly voting among themselves on one person to kill. The objective of the villagers is to kill all of the worshipers and rid their town of the pestilence of Molag Bal. They do so by voting for someone to kill during the day.
The Rules (these may be a little different from previous games, so read 'em):
The Villagers win by killing all the Worshipers.
The Worshipers win by killing all the villagers (yes, all the villagers).
There will be special roles that some players will have. These will not be made known public unless the player they are given to decides to reveal it, or if their character dies. Beware of players who may try to make it appear they are something they are not.
During the day you may:
Post in-character dialogue and actions. Everything will succeed except trying to kill someone outright, so if you want a mead you can get a mead, etc.
Discuss with other players in character your character's suspicions
Vote to lynch someone. Votes may be changed up until someone is lynched, which will occur when all players have voted, or 48 hours after the first vote has been cast. The player with the most votes against them after that time will have their character killed barring any intervening circumstances.
During the night:
Some players with special roles will be able to take action.
Worshipers will decide upon a victim
This is meant to be a game, and as such, to move quickly. A maximum of 48 hours will be given for each day and each night. Hopefully that time will not be needed.
During the first day players will have a chance to vote to lynch someone, thereby giving everyone a chance to interact and have at least one meaningful action before being killed by the Worshipers.

I hadn't seen that you'd made a baker already until about halfway through writing the sheet up, Nanza, but I figured I'd keep with it. We might be able to make a good dynamic out of it, if you're interested.

All the town's violence is going to revolve around the damn bakeries developing a rivalry. Turns out both bakers are cultists and they are baking the flesh of the fallen into their pies. Breloth would be okay with this, as long as he doesn't end up inside one of the pies. If the pies end up inside him, that's good.

Yes, you definitely "survived". You survived long enough that I gave some ambiguity to whether or not you actually survived for ten seconds off of the island. The only one to definitely survive was ZeRoc.
The last game was really fun, I had so many fun plans and possibilities that the players managed to carefully thwart, like ZeRoc being my "spare VIP", getting killed very quickly. It was pretty fun watching people react to special roles, like dragon escaping execution, only to be lynched properly next time. I had originally made that role with a cultist in mind, but thought it would be much more intriguing if it were a villager role, since no one would trust that villager after that, at least that's what I imagined would happen. There was a lot of systems put into place with the sole purpose of causing confusion, actually. Like Nanza getting some hints as to what was actually happening, or Duruza not having a role simply to hide the fact that TLD would appear to have a blank role if investigated. I hope you keep that in mind, Music. This is a game about gut intuitions, and about not knowing enough to make many clear judgements. With that said, I'm glad my role system is being incorporated again.
And I'll play!

So far my characters in MBG have been an elderly Altmer librarian who kicked all kinds of ass, and Molag Bal, who is also quite old. I wanted a change from that.

The last game was masterfully done, AKB, and I'm actually a bit nervous going into this one. I hope everyone has fun. I'm using a couple of the mechanics from the special roles last time, and adding a couple new twisty turny ones. I'm also using the word "couple" very loosely.
