I was doing a miscellaneous quest "Find Red Eagle's Sword." and then I accidentally blew the Forsworn Briarheart out of the cliff and fall to death. I cannot find his body to loot so I don't have a sword to continue the quest. Now my quest mark keep jumping between the entrance of the Red Eagles's ascent and when I enter and got out at Red Eagle's redoubt it marked at some point in the cliff. when I Walked down the hill it bounce back again. I keep running around , jump of the cliff but I cannot find his body. does anyone know how to solve this problem.I was hoping that the camp will res pawn itself when the time past and I can go back and kill him again. I try using clairvoyance but it say no direct path was found. the option about loading the last save was a bad idea for me since I usually overwrite the last save. my last save was in skuldafn temple before jumping in to the portal but now I have finish the main quest and start and finish the civil war.

If you have it, the Detect Dead spell might make locating the body easier. The Sundered Towers has a respawn time of ten days, you can wait until then to try again.

If the Foresworn Briarheart you killed was the "Boss" NPC of that area, you'll have to wait a full 30 in-game days for things to respawn completely.
Some quests are a bit funky, and the Quest Marker will flip between the "through-a-door" marker and the "out-in-the-open" marker. I've even seen occasions where you'll you'll get one marker on the HUD Compass, and a different one on the Map Screen.
When it comes to waiting for a cell to reset, it's best to add an extra day on to the Wait time. So, wait 11 days for a 10-day reset, and 31 days for a 30-day cycle. (The reset timer counts full days only. Say, if you cleared a Dungeon at one minute past midnight, the first day won't be counted because it's less than a full day.)
