Is there any list anywhere of which guilds/temples/shops sell what spells?

Or can anyone tell me where i can buy what spells (especially healing)?

The Wiki here has quite an extensive description of guilds and spells.

Generally, you buy spells for the Mages Guild. To the best of my knowledge, the selection of spells depends on the "quality" of the particular Guild hall that you're visiting. This seems to be no different from the quality of shops, and the messages displayed when entering shops and guilds are identical. Province capitals supposedly should have better Mages Guild halls.

Thanks but that doesn't really help. Neither of those pages have anything about which guilds or temples or shops sell which spells - only what magical skills you can train in at them.

Mr Flibble gave you some good advice - take heed of the message you get about the quality of the guild. Compare the spells available. Remember that they (appear to me anyway) are random lists.

Why aren't you making your own spells anyway?

i didn't remember that the mages guild merchants list of spells scrolls down to dozens and dozens - thought at first they only had the first page ones.
