Curiosity question; Changing where Sylgja sleeps

I play Skyrim on PC. I married Sylgja and moved her into my place in Solitude. Thing is, from the first day she sleeps on a mat in my storage room. Now, if I'd modded her as a slave I probably wouldn't have minded this so much but since she's my wife I'd kinda like to her sleep in my nice four poster bed upstairs. So, the question is; if I delete (markfordelete) her sleeping mat will she sleep in the bed upstairs?

That's the classic solution I use whenever I try to force an NPC to do something, removing any alternative beds and what not when I want them sleeping in a specific one. When you remove all other alternatives, they'll perform the desired action. Besides that, I can't think of any specific way to make her sleep in a bed, unless you want to turn her into a follower and command her to sleep in a specific bed.

BTW, that bed is supposed to be for your housecarl. Since huskarls don't actually sleep, there's no great loss in ditching the thing.

It's a common issue in
Proudspire Manor. From the Wiki page:
"Once a housecarl moves into the manor, the basement bedroom should be refurnished to include a small one-person bed. A spouse living in Proudspire Manor will sometimes prefer to sleep on the housecarl's bed roll rather than the bed in your master bedroom. A fix for this on the PC via console is to use the command prid e2735 and markfordelete, then exit the house and enter again. The bedroll will be gone and the spouse will sleep in the right bed."
