This is a bit of a funny post, but I'm sure other people might have had the same experience as me.
I'm a guy, but I decided to roll a female toon to change things up. Cue the story of Pygmalion.
Anyone else rolled a char that they've accidentally fallen in love with?
If so, do tell! (And post a pic...)

Apparently, yes. I'm a female that made a male character and... well, I made him QUITE WELL.
But I can't post a picture!

Not really in love, but there are a few I have grown insanely attached to :') let's just say that if I played Skyrim in a dying-is-permanent way their deaths would make me cry
In love in the sense that I'm quite fond of them, enjoy playing them a lot more than others and couldn't imagine letting them suffer permadeath (or if I did it would only be to restart them) - yeah, sure:
In the sense of getting romantically attracted to a collection of pixels - sweet Mara, no!
(Jelena: you can post pictures by uploading them to a site like imgur or photobucket, copying the URL and putting it into [img] tags. E.g. to post the picture above I wrote [ img ] http://i.imgur.com/vH2j0Yt.jpg [/ img ] without the spaces. If you'd like to show us your pics in full size it's better to post a link because links don't swallow a lot of bandwidth and don't clutter the page. To post a link to the picture above I'd write [url = http://i.imgur.com/vH2j0Yt.jpg ] Picture title or description [ / url ] - again without the spaces.
DVV: Silne is gorgeous!)

This.
When I created Vulom, I doubt I intended for her to last as long as she has (nearly three years now). She probably would have been played an forgotten. Except I got attached to her and now... Yeah. She's the only one of my earlier characters still standing. Probably because she was, in her terrible evil, the most memorable of the bunch.
The irony is that it was from pure disdain for Diablo II's Amazon character that I took the cues to craft my first dedicated archer character in Oblivion. Everyone and their mum was gallivanting around Battle.net with Ranged Attack Barbie, so I decided to make a point about the silliness of placing a cheery, clear-faced doll in the role of a skilled killer. I've been running the joke for so long, even I have forgotten where the punchline was supposed to drop.

I've never really fell "in love" with any of my characters! I usually delete a character after I am done with them. However, I have fell in love with some of the faces I've created!

Never fallen in love with any of my characters either...and they have all been my "favorite". But the one who has a slithery dark and cold place in my heart is Felina, the Night Mother's die hard fan:
Spoiler:
*She doesn't look like a murderer, does she? I'd like to say all of my characters are beautiful...but really, I think only she is.

Finally, I'm able to post it. This is Haraldr.
Spoiler:
Besides the fact that he's my first character, highest-leveled, and the only one with most of the major quests completed - and therefore very dear to me - I also think I made him look quite good.... although it depends on opinion, I guess

^If you're into the ruggedly handsome bear type of guy, he certainly fits the job description.
While we're talking about good-looking characters, I'm quite fond of this true daughter of Skyrim, my latest creation:
Meet Magritte, defected Hjaalmarch guard about to join the Stormcloaks (yeah, I'm venturing out of my comfort zone bigtime with this one). Maybe I'll try to make her face a little rounder and the mouth a little broader, but all in all I like her quite well as she is.

Haraldr is very handsome
I can't post a pic of my Imperial lady Stella yet, but to me she is stunning

The best character accident I've had was with my Breton mage, Alethea. I was tweaking her hair color (via RaceMenu) from one of the default black options, and realized that purple kind of works. I figure it came from some experimental magic in childhood.

This is technically her second incarnation.

Finn Wolfshorn, after you edit her, post a pic where her eyes are not in the shade, I want to see them better. Otherwise she's nice
Stelpots, thank you in Haraldr's name

I tinkered a bit with Magritte's face but decided she's perfect as is and every change would ruin the balance. Picture with eyes as requested:

The firelight makes it hard to guess their colour, but they're green, contrasting the colour of her warpaint. (I initially meant to make her a redhead but ended up liking that shade of blonde better.)

Creating this character wasn't intentional, but I did anyway because I was pleased with how she turned out:
Hidden:
Narji the Blood-Bringer... I still haven't thought up a decent background for her. All I know is that she's a wild werewolf, rescued as a child by the Companions and raised as one of them. She still retains some of the werewolf in human form; mostly in her golden eyes (that was the main reason why I created her. The eyes look similar to the ones I use for my werewolves), though she's taller, stronger, and faster than most.

^Narji looks great, she emanates a sort of emo punk girl "give me no [&@%!]" attitude which I like a lot. What you mention about her origin is also interesting. I'm looking forward to hearing more of her!

Well, I just got her background written. I've decided that Narji was a mere six years old when she was infected. She was out on a hunting trip in the volcanic tundra of Eastmarch with her parents. They were attacked by a solitary werewolf during the night and it slaughtered both of her parents. Narji was discovered as she tried to flee; the werewolf pounced on her and raked its claws across her face. As it opened its jaws wide to rip her to pieces, Narji thrust a hunting knife into the roof of the werewolf's mouth, forcing the blade into its brain and killing the monster.
The scars Narji has really don't do the wound justice. There should be four long gashes running across her face. Starting on the left side of her forehead, crossing her nose and right eye (a chunk would be missing out of her nose, but her eye managed to avoid harm), and running down her cheek right to her jaw. She's probably be missing a piece of her ear, too. There are no scars like that in-game. Even with the scar mod I have. She's still supposed to be on the pretty side, though. She's even a decent bard. And a rowdy drunk.
I wrote that attack into a story (probably the bloodiest werewolf encounter I've written) and I'm planning on continuing the rest of it. So... Yeah. You'll be seeing Narji around.

Yes.
Although I guess it's not that surprising. I play Skyrim on Legendary with dead-is-dead rules. My PC is currently Level 85, so saying 'it's been an epic and intense journey' might be a slight understatement.
As far as 'looks' goes, she is basically just one of the presets with a few minor changes. But me likey all the same.

This is Marwyn the Uncanny, whose devilish mug lasted as my desktop background for far longer than other screenshots in the rotation. I wouldn't say that I'm in love with him, but I can't say the same for his orc follower Grakzul.

There are some great character pictures on this thread. This is an interesting subject, too.
To put in my two cents, I don't "fall in love" with my characters. But I do get attached to some in maybe a greater degree than would be sensible. It's akin to the feeling one has towards a favourite character in a story one writes (I avidly wrote Tolkien fanfics at one point, so the comparison comes easy). So it's no wonder that I've liked the most my Elder Scrolls characters to whom I have devised the most extensive backstory and whom I have roleplayed to some degree as opposed to using exploits and power-gaming.
In Oblivion, I got the most attached to a Nord character, Inge Blizzard-Magpie. I roleplayed her as carefree, curious woman who often got into trouble because she poked her nose into things she shouldn't have. She looked so happy, too, that I couldn't but adore her. The Thieves Guild was an absolute blast with her; her personality fit very well with e.g. the sequences featuring Amusei. I also played her as if she had fallen in love with Martin and thought her feelings were returned. Thus, the final scene was doubly tragic. At the time I didn't have Shivering Isles, so I just shelved the character after the MQ, at a point where she was mournfully looking at the gorgeous sunset over Lake Rumare beside her humble shack. Some day I might take her up again and complete Shivering Isles; what better end to her story as her throwing everything away and becoming the Daedra of Madness after having lost her beloved emperor? Her pic is below:
Spoiler:
In Skyrim, my most memorable character this far has been Didrich the Hunter, a red-haired Nord with trucker moustache. I designed him from the start as a Viking saga-style hero like e.g. Siegfried, and played him as an honorable archer/warrior with suitable quests and such. He became the Harbinger of Companions, for instance. The main quest was hugely epic with him, as he battled dragons and ultimately Alduin himself head-on with his trusty bow and Viking sword, scorning magic. In short, he's in my head the "official" Dovahkiin for all time. His portrait:
Spoiler:
Now I have a hunch my latest character Eryniel will prove very memorable, too. Not least because of her skill combination: Illusion-using archer-alchemist. Besides, I devised for her a more unusual backstory as my normal ex-guardsman/hunter/small merchant routine. I won't repeat it here, since it's already in the Post your character- thread. So suffice it to say that she's an Altmer bard and a sorts of veteran of the Great War (on both sides) with a grudge against the Thalmor. I've played her just a few days and she already feels much more fun to play as for example the character before her. I just have to make sure I don't make her boring by power-gaming. Plus, she's rather nice to look at:

Angelica, Imperial mage and vampiric agent. Initially, she was just an adaptation of an illusory character from a book, but she's taken on a life of her own very nicely -- a widow whose husband was killed during the Oblivion Crisis, under circumstances that this widow spins differently depending on who asks.

She'd look a hell of a lot different if the game had more options for scars or other mutilation.
Take the basic appearance you see in the screenshot and add four huge gashes running across her face. Take a chunk out of the top of her nose and remove half of her right ear. Bam. Narji the "Oh, Gods, what happened to your face?!"
And another character whose appearance I'm happy with:
Kas'Lei, the green Argonian and follower of Hermaeus Mora.

Ordinary gear (Straylight ENB):
Merchant gear (no ENB; annoying lack of AA on trees/plants):
She holds the title for my current most played PC character (sitting at 81 hours, though her save is giving me some grief). With her, I mostly like how her warpaint/markings came out. I combined several warpaints meant for one of the different kinds of Khajiit (from Nuska's resource pack) in her creation and that's the look she has.
