How do I use the console to get something into my inventory?

I know I've asked this before on several occasions but I've mislaid the instructions and I can't remember how to do it.

I want to bring the Ebrocca Seprecha Key into my inventory. The code for it is 0005A7B0.

I have been searching around this dungeon for ages now and I can't find the key.

According to the Wiki, it is supposed to be in a chest at k on the upper level of Ebrocca Masse. his key allows you access through the door H to the Zone 4 which is the Seprecha section of the dungeon.

I promise I'll keep the sample bit of console commands safe this time!

player.additem 0005A7B0 1

As you can see "player.additem" is the command for this, [space], then ItemID, [space], and quantity.

There is a page on the wiki listing aand describing lots of (or all) codes:

Sorted now thanks!

I've got all of the remaining "Museum of Oddities" items now apart from the quest related "Pelvis of Pelagus".

It's probably saved me hours of pointless tedious searching!

I can see me getting nearer and nearer to Assassin's Creed again!

I've played the 5th Anniversary Edition out now - nothing left to do apart from wander around!

I am however looking into obtaining the DLC which is now evidently only available on the GOTY Steam Edition. Fortunately, sometime ago I bought the Anthology Edition which includes Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Skyrim and Oblivion, so I have an access code.

Bethesda have been good enough to guide me through the installation but I have had to beg certain questions regarding having used OBSE and OAF and whether this has any effect. I am awaiting a reply on that one.

I now have a rudimentary knowledge of the game having asked for loads of advice and received much positive help in most cases. If anyone needs help and I can give it, please ask your questions in any of the many threads I have initiated. I would be only too pleased to put something back.
