Top 5 Favorite Daedric Princes
1. Sheogorath
2. Sanguine
3. Mehrunes Dagon
4. Nocturnal
5. Molag Bal

For me the Aedra are all kind of... meh. I don't really feel enough about any of them to be able to rank them.

For Daedra:
1) Sheogorath
2) Sanguine
3) Azura
4) Clavicus Vile
5) Nocturnal

What? The Aedra are the best.

Top 5 Divines:

2.) Mara
3.) Kynareth
4.) Arkay
5.) Talos

Top 5 Daedric Princes:
1.) Nocturnal
2.) Meridia
3.) Azura
4.) Hircine
5.) Mephala

Talos isn't one of the Aedra, but is one of the Nine Divines.

I'm just going to list mine alphabetically rather than trying to rank them.

Akatosh, Dibella, Kynareth, Talos, Zenithar.

Azura, Meridia, Nocturnal, Sanguine, Sheogorath. I kinda like Hircine, too, but none of the others.

Aedra? Meh.

Daedra?
1. Hermaeus Mora
2. Sheogorath
3. Molag Bal
4. Mehrunes Dagon
5. Sanguine

Easy,

Aedra:

5. Stendarr
4. Mara

3. Molag Bal
2.Hermaeus Mora
1. Sheogorath

Unmentionables: Magnus, Lorkhan/Talso, and Malacath.

Mmm.. sadly the Aedra never caught my favor, in part to the fact that few stand out amongst their ranks, where as the Daedra seem to vary drastically<_< Anyways enough lollygagging

Aedra
1) Akatosh
2) Mara,
3) Arkay
4) Stendarr
5) Kynareth

Daedra
1) Sheogorath*
2) Jyggalag
3) Azura
4) Meridia
5) Hircine

I do however wish to give some honorable mentions, for if this was a list of et'Ada, then Magnus would have be featured, and if we really didn't exclude such and went by godly beings, Padomay would be at the top. On the other front, I would have included Nocturnal or Sanguine but I really just couldn't see either holding more favor than even Hircine >_< *In regards to why Sheogorath is upon the top >_> this has been so long before the Shivering Isle's DLC. While personality alone holds merit, it's his interactions with fellow princes or events in the past that interest me so

PS: Talos isn't an Aedra

^Neither is Arkay, depending on which origin story you believe.

Not to derail the thread, or start a discussion, but the simplest answer to this is that the word "Akatosh" is probably just one of several named the Ayleids had for Auri-El.

Daedra (in no particular order):

1. Sanguine
2. Boethiah
3. Mephala
4. Hircine
5. Nocturnal

I don't have a top 5 for Aedra. They all seem equal to me.

don't have any favourite Aedra

Daedra:

1. Sanguine
2. Mephala
3. Mehrunes Dagon
4. Hermaeus Mora
5. Sheogorath

Aedra:

1. Arkay
2. Stendarr
3. Kynareth
4. Akatosh
5. Talos

Daedra:

1. Sheogorath
2. Azura
3. Hircine
4. Hermaus Mora
5. Nocturnal

I'm somewhat biased on the first three Daedra simply because I've been more exposed to them in Morrowind, Bloodmoon and Oblivion's Shivering Isles. Always liked Hermaus Mora as well though, gotta love that Lovecraftian influence.

Daedric Princes

1. Sanguine
2. Sheogorath
3. Hermaus Mora
...
ehh, can't decide

There is a serious lack of Namira love going on in this thread.

Daedra:

1. Namira
2. Mephala
3. Vaermina
4. Boethiah
5. Nocturnal

Aedra:

1. Dibella
2. Mara
3. Kynareth
4. Arkay
5. And since I must list five, Julianos.

Mine Favorite Aedra and Daedra are the following

Aedra

1.Mara
2.Stendarr
3.Julianos
4.Talos
5.Kynareth

Daedra

1.Sheogorath
2.Azura
3.Malacath
4.Meridia
5.Sanguine

Aedra/Divines
1. Talos
2. Akatosh
3. Kynareth
4. Dibella
5. Mara

Daedric Princes
1. Azura
2. Nocturnal
3. Meridia.
4. Sanguine.
5. Not sure... kinda tied between Sheogorath and Hircine.

Aedra:

1. Akatosh (Naturally.)
2. Tiber Septim (The next game should provide a quest for his faction. Or better yet, he appears to intercede in the Empire's darkest hour).
3. Kynareth (I love the nature faction in any game.)
4. Arkay (What's his true origin? The god of birth and death, the cycle of things, can be the focus of an interesting quest).
5. Dibella (Her quest in Skyrim was fun and intriging. I hope to see another Dibella quest in the next TES game.)

Daedra:

1. Azura (I always have a good time playing her quests and she seems to be one of the more interactive gods.)
2. Vivic (I loved Morrowind. Enough said.)
3. Meridia (I'd like to see her faith explored more in the next stand alone game.)
4. Mehrunes Dagon (I love quests/games fueled by an evil deity as the antagonist.)
5. Molag Bal (Same thinking as Mehrunes Dagon.)
