'nother new computer help topic. Buying a new desktop. No need for peripherals like monitors and crap. Computer must be HDMI compatible. The budget is up to $2,000.

I've pulled a few models off Newegg for comparison, all of them have Windows 7, because [&@%!] Windows 8. My main problem here is comparing the graphics cards; I don't follow the performance/overclocking scene, so hell if I know which cards are worth the money. Is a Radeon R9 280X better than a GeForce GTX780? I have no clue.

Here are three models I'm looking at right now, one at the high end of my price range, two at the low. Feel free to suggest better ones.

1TB
AMD Radeon R9 270X 2GB

iBUYPOWER Phantom Series NE654FX

$1,069

AMD FX-8320 (3.50GHz)
16GB (8GB x2) DDR3-1600
1TB Serial-ATA-III
AMD Radeon R9 280X 3GB

Additional notes: I don't have any brand preferences for CPUs or graphics cards; Intel or AMD, AMD or NVidia, doesn't matter. I'm *more* used to Intel and NVidia, but not so much that I'll pass up a good AMD offer. For the harddrive, SSD is not a priority. Win 7 > Win 8 if available, native support for high-def video capture is desirable, and again, must be HDMI compatible.

I'd personally go for the last one. Seems to me to have better value for money than the rest.

All GPU performance/price comparisons can be seen in the benchmarker pages: http://www.videocardbenchmark.net as well.
