Skywind is an attempt to recreate the third (and best) Elder Scrolls game within Skyrims engine.
I have been following the progress on and off from way back, I'm talking Morroblivion days. about four months ago I checked on Skywind and almost nothing was done, few characters had been voiced, not many quests finished, Dagoth-Ur had not even been modeled yet.
I decided to check in again last week and....

Dear god, my mind was blown. They have done so much in so little time.

Has anyone tried the latest build? Was thinking of doing a Morrowind replay after I finish NWN2, but after seeing this, I may just opt to give Skywind a try.

There's currently no public download unfortunately, I'd love to have a look.

Wow, this is looking pretty amazing. (though I wouldn't say Morrowind was the "best" Elder Scrolls game! :P )

Yeah, I realized that after posting. I have an old version from before it was taken down, but its literally just the landscape with a few buildings, and no npcs. Cant wait till release though.

I can't wait to levitate again!

That looks freaking amazing!!!! I can't wait until its playable. Morrowind has always been my favorite ES game, and to play it in skyrims system... dream come true.
