It is raining heavily outside. Of course it is, I'm in Ireland. This statement will never be false. What's the weather like right now where you live?

It's Scotland, so, it's raining rather heavily here.

Fog, in stark contrast to the buttload of snow we've been barraged with the latest couple of winters.

Gray, cold. I was going to take a picture but apparently my phone isn't feeling like it.

I'd take a picture, but all you'd see is the rain on my window :P

They say 95% of small talk is about the weather, after all... the other 5% is [&@%!] statistics.

It's currently 15F and it's going to snow later. Yay.

It is 11C and raining outside with wind speeds of 26 km/h. I would appear I live in Ireland too.

The wind is crazy actually. I was afraid my roof tiles were about to go at one stage.

Snow, snow and some wet snow.

All these people with snow. I'd give my left arm for some snow at the moment.

It's going to be just above zero all week so it'll be more sludge than snow though..

It was [&@%!] rain here in the back-arse of Cork, Ireland a few hours ago. Fierce windy as well. Now it's just cloudy and drizzling. I really do want snow, or at least ice everywhere.

Same here. The winter so far has been, in that favourite Irish saying of mine, fierce mild.

Ireland (Kildare/Wicklow border area): It's been lashing rain here all day; though the winds died down over the last half hour or so. It's been bad enough that our electricity was gone between about 11:30 and 14:50.

I actually did go an take a picture from my window - looks drier than it is:

Hopefully I can expect the wind to die down soon too then. I hate wind, because my window faces the windward side, and the squeaking of it is unbearable.

Earlier in the week it was pretty much solidly at -5F or so all day, usually with a windchill of at least -15F.

Today it's warmer: 16F, slightly snowy, but mostly pretty slushy.

Bear Valley, Alaska: we've received about 8 inches of snow for today, with 10 more inches to go by tonight. Currently 18F. This announcement has been brought to you by 'Dohva's snowshoes, because how otherwise would you outrun the hare in knee deep snow'?

Reporting live from Southern Ontario, it's -9C right now (-15 with the wind chill) and has has been snowing all day. There was something like 5 cm on the ground when I went out to shovel a couple hours ago.

New Zealand.

Sunny, clear, hot and muggy.

Currently sitting at 34 Celsius, with no breeze in sight.

Apparently it's staying like this for the next week.

It's like the Road outside - gray. Unbearably gray.
