Hi i have asked about this before but i was wandering if anybody has come across the same problem.

I have lost Shadowmere many many quests ago i have been playin Oblivion now for well over 500hrs at level 44 Orc done every quest in the Game and side quest and got every Download
and lost many other horses thus i have found them at the stables outside various cities but i loved that evil horse the best :twisted: i have been told if i return to Fort Farragaut he will be there i have done this many times no such luck

QUESTION

*IS THERE A CERTAIN DAY OR TIME I HAVE TO RETURN TO FORT FARRAGAUT

*I HAVE KILLED ALL OTHER HORSES I OWNED HOPEING THIS WOULD WORK.

*COULD HE BE SOMEWERE ELSE OTHER THAN THE FORT FARRAGAUT

*COULD SOMEBODY HAVE STOLEN HIM?

*HE CANT DIE HE IS CONSIDERD IMPORTANT TO THE GAME

* IS IT A GLITCH?

Could some shed some light on this for me is there a way to get him back? or has this happend to you?

NEW PATCH AVAILABLE YEY! On the XBOX LIVE and PC for Shivering Isle i havent been playing it just incase it ruind my game i heard bad things about asuper bug !

Please please people someone must have an idea iwant him back

Have u tried using the console? I think there's a command that u can use to teleport yourself next to any npc in the game....

Cant use the console im on XBOX 360 not PC i cant even remember the last place i had him its so frustrating :evil:

Is she armored?

While it is indeed possible to apply armor to Shadowmere, once armored she is in danger of vanishing from the game world. In this scenario, she will not reappear at Fort Farragut (normally, if Shadowmere wanders off, one can find her at the Fort - but not if she's armored).

One easy way to remedy this problem is to observe Shadowmere after fast-traveling. Once you arrive, if you see Shadowmere walking off into the sunset, quickly get on the horse. Then dismount. Shadowmere will no longer be wandering off and will stay put.

Good idea but she is not armoured ? i havnt even botherd amouring any horse only one so it could class it as a completed quest hen i killed it :twisted:

I assume you have checked all the other stables. She could be stuck in a fight though. By the way, how long is it since you lost her?

Yeah checked all the stables was the first thing i did before even going to fort farragaut , lost her about 90hrs of gameplay ago why could that affect this ?

I just thought that if you lost her not long ago, she might not have come back to fort farragut yet.

I also lost Shadowmere... She was armored. I looked everywhere but couldn't find her

Quite some time had passed since her disappearance when I received a message that she was unconscious. But alas, I still couldn't find her.

I have the same problem. I can not find my black horse anywhere. I saw it when I first got it and now its gone. I never rode it or anything.

the black horse should appear in your statistics if it's still alive.

500 hours of play time and you are level 44? I am level 42 at 200 hours, does it really drop off that much?

Shadowmere is always a problem for me. She always runs off, and it takes forever to find her. She needs a radius of 40ft away from the character setting in which she wouldn't go any further away, even if she is chasing something.

Sorry i just guesd the time of play just looked now on my save and i have been playing for 300hrs 32mins 25secs lol i just was guesing im level 45 now nearly 46.

But has anybody else had the problem were she is not at Fort Farragaut?

Yes...

Im just at 200 hours and im a level 48 and can sleep again to level up if I want but Im waiting.
