Leveling mod - alternatives to KCAS?

Back when I played Oblivion I used KCAS (Kobus Character Advancement System) to change the leveling system and also slow down level speed. I am planning to try Oblivion again, but see that this mod is no longer supported, and, even though I don't use many mods, there's always a chance for trouble.

Are there any other mods that changes the way of leveling? I am mainly looking for standalone mods/mods which does not require that other major mods are installed first.

Search for Kobu or KCAS for info about this mod. I am not allowed to link to nexus.

Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul.
As far as I know it alters leveling, and I think a few other things.

What else does the overhaul change?

See for yourselves: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/1525 ... w%3D&pUp=1

Personally, I haven't used it, but it seems to be the #1 go-to mod for Oblivion.

Thanks for the answer. I tried OOO back in the days, and it changes quite a lot, in particular the "leveling problem", that everything levels with you, described here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Leveling

However, except for the leveling system based on major/minor skills I find the vanilla game satisfying enough, and therefore KCAS was exactly what I wanted.

Doing some web searching I found a mod on Oblivion Nexus that may be what I was looking for: Realistic Leveling (by abo) (no. 13879). Other suggestions are welcome, though.

Personally, it's been a while since I've actually played Oblivion, longer since I've modded it, so I can't offer much help other than what I've heard from others.

Thanks to you anyway. In addition to the other I mentioned in my previous message NGCD/Fundament by tejus also seems to do what I described. I will look into these later.

If all you want is to Level up more slowly, this one should be a good Choice. It is the only "pure" leveling speed modifier I've found that's compatible With BOSS too...

That is a possible way with that part of the question. But I also want to do something with the level system, so maybe combined with ""All +5 Attribute Modifiers": http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/2691/?

The ""Oblivion XP update" also looks interesting, but it seems it does quite a lot: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/35333/?
