Morrowind Geography help for mod

Hi there

I'm making a minor mod for Medieval II: Total War which will be set on Vvardenfell and Solstheim, and I want you people, hopefully well-versed in Morrowind lore etc, to give me some feedback on how I made my regions, which settlements I chose, what names I gave etc. I will be posting a list of all settlements and their regions, and a map which shows the borders. The map is made in paint, and has been redone a few times but I think you'll be able to see the borders.

As of now, I included the cities and town for obvious reasons, but I also included the velothi towers and dunmer strongholds as settlements. This is because the velothi towers, while small, serve as small telvanni outposts which I think is important enough, and because lots of areas would just be empty otherwise or part of a too big region. As for the dunmer forts, there are redorans in marandus and a former garrison at andasreth. Thus, they are also used as bases of operations. As for naming the regions, I try to use geographical features whenever I can. The ascadian regions are named after the lakes, and the foyadas give name to regions whenever they can.

So, is there any borders you feel should be drawn in some other way? Some settlement that should be added or removed? Another name for a region? Please, share your thoughts.

You can't attach files on the forum, but you can include an image if you'd like! Upload your map to an image hosting site like Photobucket or Imgur, and then insert the URL for that photo into our [img] tags, like so:

Code: Select all

They are a part of a world-building project I call Uutak, which builds up on Yneslea and everything involving it in general. The Echmer are the forefront of said project. (You can even like them on Facebook.
