MalWareBytes issue

I have the free version of MalwareBytes, fully upgraded to latest version. Whenever I try to do a scan, though, an error appears. It's something like Runtime Error: 13, Type mismatch. It won't let me do the scan, and I have a virus on my computer so it's really bugging me. I have Win 8 OS and I've tried the fix of resetting my language, time, currency, etc. options. I don't know what to do.

Google "malwarebytes runtime error 13 type mismatch", I got a bunch of results. Check out the official MalwareBytes forums (first result), I've seen several different solutions there.

Yeah, most if not all of the solutions have something to do with resetting the Regional Settings for the computer.

No. But it fixed itself. I was trying to put Malwarebytes on computer with virus using a flash drive. Copying the files didn't work, so I copied the setup application. It had nothing to do with Regional Settings.
