Along with all the necessary patches and plugins. Here is a list for reference:

i: EXE Patches
1. Morrowind Code Patch
2. Exe Optimizer
3. 4GB Ram Patch
ii: Co-Executables
4. MGE XE
iii: Game Patches
5. Morrowind Patch Project
6. Script Tidy
iiii: Misc
7. Yacoby's Wrye Mash Fork

I have only played a very small amount of Morrowind, only wondering around the first town after getting of the boat and out of the first building. I loved it, but I thought it deserved the modern update treatment. So I went ahead and installed all the things listed above, and ran through the necessary setup with MGE XE and Wrye Mash. I walked around the boat in the beginning and everything already looks fantastic. So my question is should I install some mods like Morrowind Overhaul, and Better Bodies, or should I play through the main quest Vanilla first?

Better Bodies is a definate yes, seeing as it doesn't affect the game in any way except getting rid of those terrible things vannila Morrowind calls bodies. As for the other one, I really wouldn't know because I haven't used it.

Thanks for the insight. I'll definitely install that before I start playing through the main quest.
Scozzar wrote:Well if you're going to install the Morrowind Overhaul (aka "MGSO") then you will want to start with a clean installation. MGSO has everything you need. You can install stuff after installing MGSO. It can be a pain if you have any mods installed beforehand.
Does MGSO already have MGEXE packaged with it? I though I had to install MGEXE in order to be able to use MGSO.
Edit: Damn, it does! Well I'm sure it should be okay if I install it overtop of what I already have, It will simply overwrite any files at are already there. I really don't want to have to go through all the trouble of uninstalling and reinstalling Morrowind for what will be the third time.
