Graphics Tablet

I need some recommendations for a graphics tablet, preferably under a hundred bucks. I'm mostly concerned with the work area, getting a battery-free pen, and maybe a pen with some extra buttons that I can custom map. I don't care about bundled software; in fact, I'd probably prefer it WITHOUT the bundled software, but what are you going to do, manufacturers love bloat.

Need this advice quick, because I wanna pad an Amazon order to qualify for free shipping, and they may run out of Rainbow Dash plushies soon.

The Bamboo line from Wacom are entry-level drawing pads that seem to get good reviews.

The first two (Connect and Splash) should both be available for under a hundie.

Nevermind, I ordered some offbrand Chinese one. It was 60% off, and it's got the surface area/ sensitivity rating of a low end Wacom Intuos. Cheaper than the Bamboo, and better specs on paper, but God knows what it'll be like seeing as Wacom is the only manufacturer people seem to know or trust.

Anyway, I guess you could turn this into an all purpose graphics tablet thread. There's gotta be some people here who use tablets.
