A thread for your favourite music videos (not necessarily the music videos of your favourite songs).

I must say I care less about the video than the music, but here are a few videos that I really love:

1. Aphex Twin - Windowlicker
This is just about the coolest thing ever. I like a lot of Chris Cunningham's work, but this is easily my favourite. 2. Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer
Just about everyone knows this one, but it's really cool. Total Jan Svankmajer rip off, but whatever. 3. Madonna - Frozen
Another Chris Cunningham. Not as good as Windowlicker, but still pretty cool.

Here are some I find pretty creative:

1. Coldplay - Strawberry Swing

2. Fleet Foxes - The Shrine/An Argument

3. Fleet Foxes - White Winter Hymnal

I could keep posting Fleet Foxes, because their videos are genius, but, I'll post more another day...

Wow, thanks for posting VirtualWeasel. I'm a big fan of Fleet Foxes, but I'd never bothered to check out their music videos until now. Worth watching . The Coldplay one didn't work for me. I might check it out later.

I've got one I can think of at the moment, since it's pretty new:

Muse - Panic Station
Apparently, they pretty much came up with and filmed this on a whim during a visit to Japan.

This is kinda strange, but I think its a good video nontheless.

I am a law student and always support the content free from piracy and illegality. Well my favorite most song is "No Promises" by Shane Wards. I just love the music and lyrics of this song. There are many more songs which I love the most, but this is my favorite most

I think the lack of avatar (until recently) and signature makes my presence pretty subtle. Still, surely there's no one else here who argues and disagrees with everyone as much as I do (this and this). Surely that stands out a bit. Been back for about a month now though. Better late than never. It's actually feels nice to know that someone remembers me . I wondered if anyone did. I remember you too, VirtualWeasel. I remember most people I think. A couple that I don't remember. New faces, maybe? Name change? Not sure.

I should probably post something on topic: Hey Ya! Contender for the greatest song ever, but the music video didn't really interest me. I know a lot of people think highly of it. Maybe I just don't get it. Same with Closer and Lonely Boy. Not saying they're bad, just that I find them overrated. I wouldn't even comment if no one else thought highly of them, but like I said, they're often considered among the best music videos ever. I just find that strange.

I sat thru it. It was certainly creative but I didn't get it.
Liked the Madonna video much more, personally.
