I was wondering if there is a way to set a widescreen resolution and fov without using MGEXE because it makes my framerate choppy in outdoor cells.I only have MGE XE on this install because its included as part of Graphics&Sound Overhaul and use my native resolution which is 1600x900.I know how to disable MGE XE in game from the GUI.But it always changes the resolution and fov back making the game look all weird.

Also does does disabling the MGE XE ingame also disable the internal version of Morrowind Script Extender. If it does I'll just download a separate version of it.

My last question is do any of you know a good mod the allows you to rent a room at Arrille's Tradehouse.Like renting the guesthouse which is the door across from the main entrance.

Thanks for the help,I used Morrowind FPS Optimizer to solve my Resolution and FOV woes.
Turning MGE off ingame does not disable the built version of MWSE.

I tried the Seyda Neen Rest mod and its is glitchy because of some the changes made to room by parts of the overhaul,and I would just roleplay that I was renting the guestroom but that room is assigned to the battlemage into by Living Cities of Vvardenfell.It looks like Character will be roughing it the first night till I claim Foryn Gilnith's Shack after "Death of a Taxman".

Now I can resume my playing of Morrowind with widescreen resolution without the framerate drops.
