UESP Guild

I am proposing (for those who want to join

) a UESP guild, which would stretch across all 3 factions. Since we all love lore friendly names

I suggest that it be called the Unassociated Elder Scrolls Protectors, thus UESP for short. This way, we can understandably be stretched across factions.

Comments? Questions? Concerns?

Play style?

I think that would depend on how many people join it, and what they want to do. There is no reason why it can't be a PvP guild if lots of people want to PvP, and a social guild for people who just want to chat with people. Since there aren't really large raids in the game (at least at launch), we don't have to worry about trying to be a raiding guild.

What about traveling craftsmen and women? Or mobile food vendors?

Why not? I feel it could be a guild for UESP people, and everyone can do what they like.

I'm just going to say, YES. Having an official UESP Guild would be very awesome. As someone that hopes to play the game on day 1, I'd definitely join the Guild. Besides, there's no better way of advertising our site than having a presence in the game itself.

We could be a support guild, crafters, healers, other things like that, supporting larger, more focused guilds... then after we have gotten everyone to rely on us, we STRIKE! and use our power and influence to have one of our own become emperor. Or to control all the other guilds from behind the scenes. MUAHAHAHAA

I really like that. If a guild needs helping taking an Imperial Fort, then here we are, ready to lend a helping hand (and reap the rewards) then when they realise it was us who captured the WHOLE OF CYRODII, it will be too late. And we will be Emperor.

we have such great crafters, that the larger guilds HAVE to come to us for the best gear, potions, food. When we strike, we will withhold those from guild that do not please us, and from any guilds that assist them. Essentially, we impose sanctions on them, and anyone who deals with them.

I would very much like to be a crafter. I want to be the official chef of the UESP!

Of course! Crafting is very big in ESO. There seems to be a large amount of experimentation involved.

I would very much like for this to happen. It agree it would advertise UESP very well, and if we span all 3 factions, we will be unstoppable. Only problem is that we would have to fight each other, but if we flood the markets with our own crafted goods and stomp the competition, then we will be the only suppliers of some of the best goods. Everyone will rely on us for potions, food, materials, especially if we have low rates. This would be fantastic.

I tried to create a mining cartel in WoW once, but everyone was too established for it to have much effect. That won't be the case with ESO.

We would just have an understanding not to attack each other. But, yes, having us be the center of commerce would be great. I'll try and work out some details when I have time, and when we know more.

I'd rather not try to dominate the economy. I'd be much more interested in the guild for the social aspects. And if they implement them, guild halls.

Of course we should have a UESP Guild. But dibs on the Throne if I get to register Tiber Septim as a character name.

I have the feeling it will be more of a social guild

Also, Tiber Septim might be disallowed.

I'm still pulling for Daveh Septim to be the Emperor.

Ah, so it must be AKB who's been spamming the G+ page with "I'ma be Talos!" and me saying "Dude you can't be, it's not the right time period!"
As an aside, so this is just a group with people everywhere? A loose one? Just people who do things elsewhere but occasionally do stuff with UESP people or in the name of UESP?
I want to play with you guys, but I'm going to be trying to have a purpose and stay in character, so.

Well, basically what I was thinking was for UESP promotion, and people from UESP to get together. The actual play style of the guild will depend on who decides they want to be involved. If that makes sense.

Well, perhaps I'll say hello to folks in the Daggerfall Covenant.

I'm waiting to see what the Racial Skill Lines are like before deciding my race

I like the idea of a large cross faction guild. In all of the ES games I`ve played, I`ve made at least one character of each race. I`m looking for a guild that won't restrict me by forcing me to play as one of three races. I tend to be an altaholic.

Agreed. With cross-faction guilds confirmed, even if we can't all PvP together, we can at least coordinate UESP promotion across all alliances.

Does the UESP Guild exist in the beta?
I've never played a MMO before TES:O so I have no actual idea what's going on, but I like the idea of having people I vaguely know to chat to and share items with. My characters do serious amounts of crafting

.

Yeah, there are two of them as far as I know.
