On a clean install on steam, with cloud sync disabled (so hopefully nothing from previous installs was left in), I download MSGO and install. When I install it gives me a popup saying MGSOO_UNhandledExceptions.exe is missing, but goes through installation perfectly fine other than that. Now when I try to start a new game it freezes, I get an error noise, and then upon hitting escape an error message flashes too quickly for me to read and then it crashes to desktop. Has anyone heard of this and maybe knows a workaround? I've been googling it for half an hour with no luck.

Did you remember to disable the in-game overlay for Steam before booting up the game? Are you using any other mods that changes that cell, except MGSO? Try re-downloading and re-installing MGSO and see if the problem persists. The installer is very sensitive, so make sure you're following the instructions to the teeth.

EDIT: I found another thread with the same issue. Unfortunately, he/she didn't specify how the problem was solved...

Steam overlay is disabled, and I'm not running any mods that change cells as far as I know. Just a few things like tireless running and a magic regen mod. I'm going to try uninstalling, reinstalling, and see if that works. Is there a better place to get msgo than the torrent listed on ornitocopter? I'll try emailing the guy from the other post and see if he/she remembers how they fixed it.

Yeah, I went with the torrent the first time because its so much faster, but only 6 min left on the download. Gave me time to wash the dishes and make scones I guess.
