Lore-wise, does this make sense? And what would the Greybeards think of this? I'd like to know if being DB and a werewolf doesnt really contradict each other. Im stickler about this stuff.

I guess the Greybeards prefer the Dragonborn to lead a life of virtue, etc. But they'll probably look past any of your sins as long as you do your job as the last Dragonborn. I guess you can compare it to the grey wardens in dragon age: defeat the archdemon and blight at any cost (even if it means blood magic, and other unmentionables). So I guess that's the way they created the game and wrote the character... leaving it wide open to how you want to play.

Mankar Cameron was dragonborn, he hardly used his powers for good.
But being a werewolf and Dragonborn isn't a problem. My Dragonborn is a werewolf and still a good person.

Yea it's weird how your dragonsoul/shezarrine shoul can be infected with lycanthropy. I don't really
get how that works. This question could go for vampirism as well

Is it because being a vampire or a werewolf is a bit of a mix between a curse/blessing and an infectious disease? the disease part making it possible for the dragonborn to be infected/blessed/cursed.

they probably aren't too happy from a moral standpoint - but Dovahkiin IS the hero who WILL destroy Alduin, so there is no choice..
plus their dealings with a certain dragon will have taught them evil can do good
Your soul is also bartered, tainted and compromised in many other ways during the course of the game so tbh lycanthropy is just another thing that can potentially annoy the greybeards

Yeah I can see the Greybeards giving me a face palm or two.

What level of facepalm?
Aside from the obvious mixed blood issues there isn't really a problem, but one has to question why, when the character is an aspect of at least 2 divines, can face daedric princes on almost equal terms and has slain a god, they would settle for being a glorified dog.

i like to think of Lycanthropy and Vampirism as diseases/magical gifts and ignore the ''soul altering'' stuff. makes it all work in my head.

The Greybeards don't care about anyone except for themselves and about the Dovahkiin due to their nature. They probably view a Weredovahkiin in a negative light but only care about the Dovahkiin's thu'um and attempt to get him/her to not abuse it. Being a Werewolf is one thing but if you are about to fulfill an ancient prophecy, that doesn't matter. The bards will most likely leave that out as well as the feast of bandits you had. Plus their leader has commited a lot of horrible deeds, which they may or may not be aware of. However, i suspect old Parthy taught them that scrolls work in mysterious ways and the Dovahkiin may not be who they expect to be.
As for the Dovahkiin's soul, Akatosh owns it thus the dovahkiin can't give it away due to Akatosh having already claimed it. Which makes the Dovahkiin one of the few mortals to trick the Daedric Princes and get away with it. Akatosh claimed Alduin's soul back before we could absorb it so i suspect on death, it would return to him.

I'm not really sure why being a werewolf must be "settling." It makes more sense to me that an aspect of at least two divines that can face Daedric princes on almost equal terms and has slain a god, not to mention the amalgamation of many, many dragons' souls, would make for an
exceptionally powerful werewolf.
I mean, in game terms, sure, it's likely going to be weaker at high levels. But we're talkin' lore here. And besides, that's what mods are for.

Werewolves tend to be very fearsome beasts in Lore and are capable of taking on many warriors at once. I suspect even the Legion when they were in their prime would have trouble defeating one. So imagine how powerful one would be with the power of a dragon or several dragons behind it.

But i suspect in the lore version of the Dovahkiin, they were unable to combine the Thu'um and the curse thus didn't become that powerful in their wereform. I know that they have a few shouts but i think all PCs gain access to it and may just be Werepowers. I wonder if it is possible for Hircine to create a WereDovah? or a Weremammoth?

Only if you think it's one or the other. That's my point: It's not.

Well, in all the games were creatures have been featured in so far, it seperates human player from werewolf player. Except if you are seen transforming, but that's slightly different.

Being able to shift into a dragon would be sweet. Like Flemeth from Dragon Age

I'm not sure what you mean by this. How are they separated in a way that contradicts the idea that, in lore, a more powerful soul might make for a more powerful werewolf?

Well, aside from player level and passive bonuses not that much the player can do influences the beast form, but the effects of being a werewolf are carried over. See:
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Bloodmoon:Werewolf,
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:Lycanthropy and
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Lycanthropy.
It's really only a physical thing - the only soul impact is the werecreature has to go to Hircene's realm on death. The strength or otherwise of the soul has no impact.

Accept the werewolf howls are shout-augmented. Otherwise they are the same, but even the bodies are separate there. And a Dragonborn body is just as weak as any other mortals. (Which I guess is the point you are trying to make.)

Yep, pretty much the only changes are bodily. And where the soul winds up, but that's fairly easy to get around for the player character...

The constant lust for human flesh and the inability to sleep are also kind of a downer.

Eh, fair enough.
But then, I've never seen the Dovahkiin turn into a giant dragon, so I don't really think the comparison CBR JGWRR made stands. Being a werewolf still stands as a distinct advantage in a lot of combat situations, if we're going with the "werewolves are just a physical change" standpoint, because, as Br3admax said, the Dragonborn isn't necessarily physically exceptional.
