For anyone who, in Skyrim, joined the Legion and the Dark Brotherhood, here is a semi-historical film about an assassin: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hero_%282002_film%29 who fought in the name of the Empire to gain the Emperor's trust in order to get close to him and kill him. Then the assassin got cold feet and was killed by the Emperor because that's what historically happened. Of course, we are not so weak, eh?

Possibly, but he isn't doing it for personal gain, is he? Does he gain anything from posting a link to wikipedia? Of course not. If this is still about the Youtube thing, I'm sure you are allowed to put a link in your signature.

As above, for an 11 year old film? The OP's point is a reference to the dark brotherhood's main target...

My point is that Titus Mede II is not some super honorable guy just because he accepted his own death. Many Emperors have done this in the past only to stab his would-be assassin in the back as soon as that assassin grew soft.
