You hear all them rumors going around skyrim? Well make one! simply put, the idea of the thread is to create random tacky rumors. It either be something directed to something in the game, or it can be something like a cheat or glitch. The only rules is it has to be something uncommon, and you have to say it in a rumor like way. hopefully we can all have a little fun with this! I'll give you all two examples to give you all a idea of what I mean.

example one: there's been a few rumors here and there, that in the Castle Karstaag courtyard, Karstaag's remains still lay there. and if anyone dares disturb them, the ghost of Karstaag himself will come for revenge.

example two: people have been saying, that if you drink 4 bottles of vodka, while singing the french national anthem, and spinning in a circle 27 times, ending in 90 degrees to the left of your original position, then fire 4 arrows in a virtual line on a tree, you will become invincible.

Also, this should be a good thread for those who want to find interesting quests, without the wiki spilling all the beans.

If you travel to Whiterun, and perform the glitch that sends you underneath the world and beyond the city walls, I've heard that you can stand upon the giant statue of an Eagle above the Skyforge! Now, if you position you character juuust right, and perform an ancient African tribal ceremonial dance, you can become a pixelated version of Jesus himself!

"I've heard that Nazeem doesn't even know where the Cloud District IS."

Rumors have it that there is an endless supply of bandits that roam the land, but nobody knows where the all come from.

"Some man said something about being controlled by some guy on the other side of this so-called "screen". Drowned him in the lake we did."
"I've heard rumors of someone who defeated a dragon with something called "the console"...Don't believe a word of it, myself."

Good news, from Sovngarde, for a change. They say the last of Alduin's soul has finally be driven from Aetherius.

I heard that the guards in riften will kill you if you so much as look at a shadowmark.

Have you heard of those people who freeze time when they read books? Personally I think it's colly wobbles.

There's a rumour going around that the old folks (Draugr) in the old folks homes (Nordic dungeons) have lost the front door key and can't sleep in peace without some idiot "tomb raider" barging in, stomping through the corridors and stealing their pension money (in Burial Urns). No wonder they get mad and lash out with their walking sticks (ceremonial burial weapons).

There's also a rumour that when they get tired of the above, they just play dead until they're sure the "tomb raider" has gone, then get up and play a game of "musical coffins". After a mad scramble, the last Draugr still vertical is the loser and gets to be the total insomniac who stays awake for centuries to keep all the torches and braziers lit while searching for the lost front door key.

Rumour has it that Skyrim isn't a perfect game and may present the occasional bug, and that even some of the bug-fixing patches themselves may need to be patched. To add insult to injury, subsequent DLCs are rumoured to be bugged as well.

I've heard a rumor that you're an idiot. Any truth to that?

this isnt an rumour per se, but if you wear one of the several set of emperors robes available for 28 game days (tho it might be for 1in game calendar month) and travel (by foot) through all 8 holds, civilians and imperial soldiers will start calling you you Excellency

9 holds...
