Gravel path mod

I'm looking for a mod that will create a gravel or dirt path, like the ground textures, but on a static item..
I'm thinking of something similar to a gravel path through a garden, or something like that.
This can be a mod, or just resource for a mod.. I can handle setting it all up, I just suck at 3d modeling..

Or if someone could walk me through simple 3d modeling, that would work as well..

You want to paint a ground texture on top of a 3D model while you're in-game? I'm pretty sure a mod like that don't exist for Morrowind. I also suck at 3D-modeling, but I guess the simplest way to do what you ask is to manipulate the texture(s) of the static in PhotoShop or GIMP. If you really need to directly paint on the static, I can recommend Autodesk MudBox. You'd have to convert the nif-file into an obj-file with NifSkope first, though. Other than that, I'm clueless.

No I was looking for a way to do this out of game, a static I can put into the construction set.
The ideas on manipulating textures is helpful.
I was also, though, looking for ways to editor, or otherwise alter, meshes.. which I could then apply said texture too.

I will say that I know the basics of texture modification, but I don't really know anything about modifying meshes.

In that case, any 3D-modeling software should do the trick. The thing about nif-models is that you basically have to use NifSkope to convert files between your modeling software and the CS, unless you have an import/export plugin for your modeling software. I've used 3DS Max, MudBox and Blender. I found the first two to be easier to understand and work with, although they aren't free. Blender is free but not as easy to use, in my opinion. There are tons of tutorials for all of them on the net. Here would be a good place to start for you.
