So, frenzy seems borked.

I tried it on rats, nothing happened, apparently they are immune to it.

Tried it on some humanoids, they glowed red as if they had it on them, but never attacked eachother, only me/my friendlies.

Edit: Wen't to a city, put frenzy on everyone, they would glow red but just stand there doing their usual things as if they weren't frenzied. I tried installing the various "official fix" thing but no luck..

Anyone know a fix?

Please help 3: Illusion is what I always have mainly used in TES, Oblivions frenzy is bugged, and my Skyrim is extremely bugged (even a full reinstall didn't fix it -_-, basically I can't progress in any quest, it's like all quest scripting is broken), I seem to be having some awful luck with TES as of late.

Frenzy in Oblivion works only on NPC's, not on animals.

What is the magnitude of your frenzy spell? NPC's has an Aggression point system. Frenzy increases the Aggression. When the Aggression is above the Disposition against you (or other NPC's) the afflicted target will attack.

Few things#1 if you cast the spell with amour on its going to be weak, try it with out
#2 the spell is by LEVEr, which sucks, becuse you need to cast it on lv 2 npcs, 3 etc and they all level with you, so you need to get a new spell evrey time

Its not worth it.

Ya'll should of read more carefully, I explained those XD

1. I was trying it on humans, I was just running around main cities putting it on people, they would glow red but never attack anyone.
2. I was using no armor while using it, as I said, they were glowing red, it was working and going on them, just wasn't setting them off.
3. I see on problem with that, it would be stupid to be using the same spell forever.

frensy will see them to "agreisve" but you may need to cast rally to get them brave enough to hit someone

Also, you said nothing about if you where wearing amour.

What level is the spell what lvevl are you?

I'm 1, spell is 6. As I said, they glow red, it goes on them, they just don't act different. Even on enemy targets that are aggressive anyway, they will glow red but never attack anyone besides me/my friendlies.

AFAIK they glow no matter what even if it dont "work"
like try lv 2 when your lv 30 and they will still glow
and the lv is not your level, its their level, not sure what level they are, try a higher level one.

If it doesn't work on them it just plain won't do the effect. Enemies will glow red and still only attack me, even if I am hidden and they're other enemies around.

I'm going to test it now, hit a gaurd they are always ten lvs higher then you, so if they do it then it WILL "glow"
kind of like when yuou use open on a door, it dont open but it still shows the effect.

you may be right but thats not what I remember.

Okay it seems I have the same problem as you cept I've always had it and never noticed, just assumed they went "red" always...

Try rally, cause agression is not the only thing that affexts it

Increase target's Confidence (willingness to attack). Fleeing NPCs will stop running and return to combat.

they may be agrresive but it dont mean they are "atacking"

Like I said, that doesn't fix it. Even on aggressive enemies they still will just glow red but act normal.

I know I edit my post to say it did not owrk.
Mine has done it always, my guess is no fix as my game has well always had it...

Frenzy used to work fine for me, really annoying as I always include illusion and alteration in my builds, mysticism as well in oblivion. Every single build no matter what it is includes those -_- So my main thing being broken is REALLY annoying.

On top of this, my skyrim is completely broken. Reinstall didn't fix it even. So one game is broken, the other my main thing I include in all builds is broken, and morrowind just has terrible casting/magic system -_-

Nothing else that I have noticed.

After I reinstalled oblivion, was getting the GOTY deluxe edition so had to reinstall it. Which is strange considering that would remove any mod issues as all mods were removed then. (New character too)

So, that would be a few days ago.

Maybe its me but I know in morrowind some mods, even when you uninstall the game can be a problem on reinstiall...

It MAY be that, but i dont know anything about mods in oblivion... then again it may be a glitch...

Maybe some console thing will work? have you EDITED anything in the CS?
Is the game of the year up to date on patchs?

No and yes, even downloaded all the unofficial patch fix things. No luck.

If the patch dont have it, I dont think its to common...

Sigh..Guess I'll have to stick to watching lets plays of TES for now since all of them decided to break on me all at once -_-

Yes I did, when I reinstalled I made a new character, that's when I noticed frenzy wasn't working, when you are protecting the emperor during the tutorial I was putting frenzy on all the enemies, they would glow red but never attack each-other, only the blades and myself, even though there were plenty of themselves to attack.

Really hope I can get this working DX

Get it if illusion is a major skill.

Or through console.

But you dont pick your class in till after they are dead.

Maybe getting it through console messes it up? I know some things dont work when you do it.

I've done it on countless other character's and it as worked fine, so it isn't that. You are still learning the spell, no different from learning it normally.
