Elder Scrolls Online Planned Guild.

Hello everyone.
A friend and I are planing to make a Guild on ES:O. We would like to know if anyone would be interested in joining, we appreciate not everyone is excited and some don't want ES:O, but we will be playing it, as after all, is Elder Scrolls.

The main point of the Guild is like a Army, comprising of mainly Archer Squads and a few One-Handed Squads to help defend the Archers and Officers. We were thinking on making it Valenwood based. We really hope they decide to include buyable and deployable tents and Barricades and if they do appear, we would have a forest camp. We hope to include in-Guild tasks, like obtaining 500 Arrows for gold or items. We were hoping we would be strong enough to have a major presence in Valenwood and the nearby Provinces; maybe even expanding around to Skyrim and Highrock. Our goal would be to control the Imperial City, but we would be more focused on controlling the other regions fairly, rather than marching straight into Cyrodiil. We would rather make a good game experiance than go for all out victory, and we are looking for to Guild battles, town battles and the rest. If you intreasted in this idea, please comment below, and we know, Elder Scrolls Online wont come out until 2013, but, we want to plan ahead and get setup and ready to go from Day 1.

Thanks for reading, and really, we dont care about insults :)

I think the mods who buy the game will make an official UESP guild. I wouldn't be surprised.

Are there user created guild possibilities? If so, you obviously know that we'll have one. The s'wit rolls best with friends, after all. ;)

I propose we paint our HQ with the grey matter of our enemies.

It will be called Official Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages Forum Guild or for short OUESPFG(doesn't sound too good...)

I'm with Temple Zero. Do not impede us. Perhaps we can strike up a mutually beneficial agreement, however. Marukh taught us that even infidels have their purpose.

We won't all be in the same faction because they are race specific.

Simply announcing the fact of Marakhuti supremacy and the inevitability that Temple Zero will put a man or woman on the throne before it's all said and done. There is little probability that your UESP guild shall impede their glorious march through Empire False. I am their humble servant and herald. Hear the voice of the ape. Tam! RUGH!

One thing we could do to solve the faction problem would be to create three separate guilds for each of the three factions. If we were to create this on a Role-Playing realm then there could be an In-Character "pact" or "alliance" between our three guilds. Just throwing out suggestions ;)

That idea definitely works. It would also allow people with multiple characters to still be a member of the guild. This solves the problem for those who want to explore those areas that we don't see often (as in, all of the territory the Aldmeri Dominion controls and pretty much nothing else), but also want to be a member of a UESP guild.

I've seen plenty of guilds/groups do it in World of Warcraft, but then again that was in a non-role-play format and there are only two factions in WoW.

I think it will be interesting though :)

The first part of this interview might be of interest to anyone who wishes to set up a UESP Guild, even prior to the game's release:
Spoiler:
I guess there also is the issue of people not being 100% on whether they'll actually get into ESO until they have access to more info, but I think it looks promising and that it'd be great for those of us who do delve into the world of The Elder Scrolls Online to set something up.

Yeah, we'll definitely need a guild. Though I bet we end up with one for the forums and one for the wiki. The two guilds will probably be locked in an eternal struggle for dominance.

I find your lack of faith... disturbing. We can definitely organize a guild across the site, Ratwar. We still have about a year to get one together before the game is even released. If we can't organize a guild in that amount of time, I'll be shocked. I admit that our previous attempts at similar groups have been mixed, but those weren't about TES. If we can't bring ourselves together in the name of TES, then when can we ever come together?

We will start up a Guilds sub-forum in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out! We'll start to solidify things then.
